1FETAL ABNORMALITY
Question 1: What is the Christian view of the nature of human persons, and which theory of
moral status is it compatible with? How is this related to the intrinsic human value and dignity?
Answer: I will use the theory of ‘Nephesh’ (The Human Being as a Living Soul) of the Christian
ethics to analyse the nature of the humans on this earth. The theory of Nephesh explains the
particular form of the human embryo and describes the life of the different animals that one
cannot deduce from the common traditional theories. Nephesh illustrates that as a human being is
created and ensouled by God, the embryo can be the ontological object of the moral man in much
more practical terms that will be deliberately destroying the embryo of the common humans tha
twill owe to the different destructive aspects of the human life (Constantin, 2018).
Nephesh highlights that the moral stand and the meaning of the existence of the humans
will not be grounded on the basis of the creation of the different living beings created by the
force of God and also depending upon the quality of the creation of the human beings.
THetheor7 believes in the concept of the sustaining of the goals of the human dignity that will be
based on the moral principles of the reformed version of the tradition that will be focused on the
worthiness of the different human beings (Chetail, 2017). The reformed form theologists will
further strengthen the argument on the dignity of the humans that mainly evolves from the
emergence of the concept of the human rights against the rapid issues of the human right abuses
all across the globe.
Question 2: Which theory or theories are being used by Jessica, Marco, Maria, and Dr. Wilson to
determine the moral status of the fetus? What from the case study specifically leads you to
believe that they hold the theory you selected?

The theory used by Jessica in the determination of the moral status is based on the notion
of the financial independence that believes in the basic principles of the life and the need for its
protection. The theory postulated by Jessica believes in the sacredness and the need to value life
(Winfield, 2019). This situation worries Marco because he already knows that the financial
burden increases in raising a child with certain form of abnormalities. The decision that prevails
in the current society will also guarantee that the current society that arises with the raising of the
children with certain form of disabilities but at the same time they are successful in life (Costea
et.al 2018).
Marco referred to the incident of the agree which is defined as the moral status that is
associated with the three particular theories like that of the moral agency , the theory related to
the consciousness of the different measures and finally the theory of sentience. Marco has further
defined the theory of the moral agency as the inherent capacity to make the judgment in the
context is something better or worse occurs and the situation where the intention will be morally
judged (Dorin & Montenegro ,2018).
Maria however in the context of the moral status of the humans does not believe to
encourage the termination level of the fetus as was illustrated by Jessica in her task to shoulder
on as a mother. According to Maria, a person should respect the rights of the other people and
should not by any chance interfere with them as a result of the relationship that they will share.
Dr.Wilson on the other hand preached to respect the rights and the decisions that are
taken by both Jessica and Marco owing to the type of relationship that they share. The fetus will
always grow in a person no matter how imperfect the process seems to be. According to Wilson
it always develops as a result of the final response given after all the views (Kauffman &
Sheehan 2019).

Question: 3: How does the theory determine or influence each of their recommendations for
action?
The theory of moral status will stand by the moral interests of the of the individual entity of the
domains of the individual wellbeing. At the generalized level, there are two basic ways of
analyzing the moral status of the individuals that will analyze the moral standing of the consider
ability of the moral situation of the humans. The utilitarian approach will also analyze the moral
consider ability of the matters that will be guided in promotion of the interests or the factored
form of the calculus that will determine the particular actions that will maximize the greatest
utility of the ethical approach.
The non-utilitarian philosophers however allowed the different possibilities that will ensure the
moral status that will be possible through the varying degrees and the introduction of the
different notions of the highest degree of the status of the individuals. This article will survey
the different overviews of having the moral status that will be involved in having the FMS that
will be opposed to the basic ideas of the treatment of the individuals based on the moral status.
The variety of the applied ethics will be in the context of the certain things will be in the
respects of the human beings , the non human animals and on the theoretical perspective that will
deal with the real grounds of the moral status of the individuals. The construction of the plausible
theories will account for the moral status of the various other human beings and not only the
degree of their individual status.
Question 4: What theory do you agree with? Why? How would that theory determine or
influence the recommendation for action?

I agree with the theory of the Utilarianism on the evaluation of the moral status of the
individuals. The theory of utilariasm states that states that the interests will not morally matter to
some extent to the sake of the individual entity but also will accrue to the moral status of the
suffering of the individuals on the account of the individual animals and the consequences
resulting from the other individual beings.
The utilitarian theory however restricts the possibility of the moral status of the individuals that
will be appearing in the varying degrees along with the notion of the highest degree of the
individual status. The moral status in the respect will also highlight the various justification of
the grounds of the moral status (Montenegro, 2018).
