Question No. 1
I experienced a period of suffering five years ago. I had lost my father due to some diseases and I
was completely shocked because of that. I knew it was a fatal disease and I tried my best to do
something positive out of the situation. I tried to avail the best medical facilities but all of my
efforts had gone in vain. He was suffering from diabetic problems immensely and he had a sore
foot. This had resulted in the poisoning of the blood all over the body. I did not want to go to my
college in those days. I stayed inside my house and cried for long hours. I lost the most precious
person in my life and I lost all the desire to live again properly. I believe in the Christian
ideologies in the best ways. I believe in Jesus and His teachings. I kept on reading His teachings
over and over again to soothe the discomfort of my body and mind. This is why I felt a little
relieved when I read out His messages to my father. He felt glad when he listened to the
messages of Jesus Christ. In the midst of suffering, I always felt Jesus Christ would give me
much comfort and help me to live again with psychological strength.
A question no. 2
There are many important issues that are concerned with the evil and suffering. In this regard, it
can be said that the evil is very much present on the everyday basis. No can run away from the
evil since the evil has been there since the humanity has fallen down (Astley, 2013). It is beyond
the understanding of the most people that God is so powerful but so much evil and suffering is
present all over the world. It is only because the evil is caused by the evil and human beings are
not Gods or deities. God has given the full freedom to all the human beings to accept Him. It is
up to the human beings whether they will do good to others or do evil. The deity is something
good but most of the people do not do the good to the other people (Vardy, 2015).

Question no. 3
The Christian worldview has been very much important for the proper understanding of the evil
and suffering within this world. As it has been said earlier that evil and suffering are the reasons
for the works of the human beings, it is only them who can control these things. The God is all
powerful and He has got all the means to control whatever is happening in this world. Christians
are of the opinion that God has all the power and He is always good. He never causes any harm
to any human being (Peterson, 2018). However, He only gives them the punishments if they have
committed any misdeeds. Many people had the good fortune to encounter the God within the
Bible. Those people have been given their dues all through the millennia. All of them have
always said that God is very good and God has always provided the good things for the people.
Nobody has ever seen a wrong thing within the God Himself. The Christians believe in some
components that results from them in the suffering (Melling, 2013). These components are the
betrayal, torture, indignity and a fearsome death. The matter of suffering is a constant one in the
humanity since this comes from the faults of the human beings only. If the human beings can get
rid of their sinful nature, this will be a huge boost for the well-being of the human beings.

The topic related to this question is very much related to that of evil and suffering. The topic can
be related to the fact that one of my close friends that a great earthquake took place in the region
he lived in. This had been a great setback for him for a number of reasons. He used to do a
business in the area. The business was quite a prosperous one and he used to earn a quite a lot of
money through this. However, this natural disaster in the form of the earthquake has led them to
a huge loss since all his money had been abandoned. He had no money left and this was the

worst situation he had to face in his life. Literally, he had come to beg for money to collect his
food. The guy came up to me and asked me why these things always happened to him despite he
believed in God and Jesus Christ. I made him calm down and told that it might be due to some
activity that he had committed in his past.
Question 5
As per the chapter 7, it can be concluded that the moral absolutes exist. The ethical and moral
underpinnings are very much clear in the Christian worldview of life. In this way, the human
beings could be driven to achieve the moral and ethical aspects through the preaching of the
moral absolutes (Keller, 2016). The development in the ethical understandings should be made in
order to achieve the best results for the growth of the humanity. The moral standards of life are
considered to be subjective and the absolute moral principles have come into existence by the
grace of God only. The difference between the right and wrong should be addressed properly
because it would be the pathway for addressing the issue with much deeper insight (Gill,
2012). Therefore, it can be said that the moral absolutes exist definitely.
