Introduction
Many individuals hold divergent views and beliefs towards certain aspects of life.
Religious and cultural factors play a significant role in shaping the attitudes and behavior of
individuals towards certain elements. Similarly, the different worldviews for individuals are
influenced by these factors. The focus of this paper will be on Islamic worldview.
Building a relationship with Islam would depend on several steps. Fundamentally, the
most crucial step would be accepting them for who they are. Secondly, it would so be important
not to question their worldview and beliefs associated with it in a way that may seem
disrespectful. Finally, strict prayer schedule is a vital aspect of the Islamic culture. Therefore,
grating a Muslim a conducive environment to meet their prayer obligations would be an essential
step towards building a healthy relationship. Finally, it is necessary to ensure that you do not
force your ideas on them, as this would have an impact on the relationship (Smith, 2012).
Presenting a Christian gospel may be affected by multiple challenges. First, although both
worldviews believe in a Supreme Being, Muslims believe that Jesus Christ was a prophet as
opposed to Christians who believe him to the son of God (Pratt, 2016). Additionally, Muslims
believe in the Quran as the holy book while Christians believe in the Bible comprised of the old
and New Testament. Moreover, their belief in God is quite different. In this regard, Muslims
believe in one God as opposed to Christians who believe in the trinity of one God in three
persons, the father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Finally, while Muslims associate sin with
wickedness and forgetfulness of the human race, Christians believe that human beings are born
with the original sin (Hammond, 2015).
Additionally, personal challenges might also be encountered. These include trauma
caused by the rejection of God and Christianity beliefs. As Christians seek to transform lives,

they might often face rejection and mockery because of their beliefs. These may have
detrimental impact on their state of mind.one of the basic requirements of evangelism is an
understanding of the beliefs and attitudes of the target population. Therefore, when preaching to
the Muslims, an individual needs to have an understanding of the Islamic religion. This might,
however, be quite challenging for a Christian (Muzykina,2012).
In conclusion, the beliefs and attitudes of an individual largely depend on their
worldview. In this regard, building a strong relationship with an individual belonging to the
Islamic religion would entail a few steps. These include respecting their beliefs, giving them a
conducive environment to meet their religious obligations. However, the differences in
Christianity and Islamic believes might affect the spread of Cristian religion to Muslims.
