The concept of the Christian worldview is very important in the present times. Hence, I
will talk about the Christian worldview and its impacts on the political contexts. Several first
world countries, especially in USA there are several believers of evangelism in the political
sphere. The connections between church and politics have been very crucial from all the
viewpoints (Wilcox, 2018). These viewpoints are indeed very crucial regarding the church and
the politics. Therefore, it will be important to note that I will discuss on several perspectives how
church is useful for politics and how religion has created an overall impact on the churches.
There are principles in the Bible that are attached to the Bible. Hence all these principles and
objectives are related to the political engagement of the common people. I have seen several
examples where common people have got engaged with the politics but they were stern believers
of religious authenticity and stayed away from the politics.
I must admit in this social scenario that we live in a time when the political polarization
has become very important factor in the current times. In the previous times, it was a common
trait that devoted Christians did not like politics and they looked to gain the insight into more
spiritual issues (Wilcox, 2018). On the other hand, other spheres like education, leisure, sports,
fashion and many other perspectives are influenced from the religious perspectives.
In the Prov (21:1), it has been said that God holds the sovereign power in the world and
He controls all the activities of the king. In the recent times, the political agendas generally circle
round the concept of religion (Carey & Paulhus, 2013). In this context, Christianity has also
gained a huge part also. I have come across some passages in the Bible where the mention of
good politics has been found. Therefore, politics is very much intertwined with the Christian
beliefs and worldview.

I should point out here the fact that the concerned politician will run his campaigns
through various ways. The intentions of the politicians can be found in two different ways. The
first one is the spirit of God or the good spirit (Keck & Sikkink, 2014). On the other hand,
second spirit creating an influence over the politicians is the evil spirit. The concept o politics
has become very dirty in most of the cases these days. I feel all the politicians should follow the
spirit of God so they can think well about all the people in the society and work for their welfare.
It is my opinion that Christian worldview of theocracy is the main driving force for the
pure politics. I should always mention all the politicians must go for the better notions in the
political firms (Carey & Paulhus, 2013). The concept of human reasoning is also very crucial for
attaining the divine knowledge in the social spheres. Many Christian believers have stressed on
the fact that the proper use of reasons will definitely drive the human beings for revealing the
truth about the existence of God. I certainly believe that God is omnipotent and he possesses the
divine foreknowledge by his own power. The use of religion should be done from completely
neutral manner in this discourse (Fox, 2018). Therefore, it could well lead the beliefs of
spirituality to address the political leadership for the welfare of the people.
Some critics are of the opinion that humanism should be the form that should discuss on
the governance of countries and nation states. On the other hand, many politicians want to
continue with their religious glory since they believe in their social justice imposed by the God
(Keck & Sikkink, 2014). Here, in this scenario, the concept of the Biblical political economy of
God can be addressed properly. The political community is basically guided by the God Himself
and He addresses all these issues properly so all the conflicts between political authority of
human beings and lawlessness in the society could be addressed properly (Fox, 2018). The

theology of the political views of Moltmann is very crucial from different viewpoints when
reviewing the political theology.
The example of Israel can be given in this scenario as the political economy of the
country is basically centered on God only. (Bean, 2016). Various attributes in Israelite politics,
economy, social and ethical issues are governed by the guidance of divinity. The concept of
lawlessness in the society has become a humanistic agenda where laws of divinity would guide
the human beings of the society to attain proper place in the society (Wald & Calhoun-Brown,
2014). The leadership principles have been discussed in the Bible several times and many
quotations have been made to direct the politics of the nation states in a proper manner. In some
countries, the political leadership principle guided by secularism is followed also. I feel the
essence and influence of divinity would definitely lead all the human beings properly so
politicians can make the proper ways for serving the needs of the common people (Bean, 2016).
I would like to go back to the Christianity worldview where god will be looked as the
governor of the nation. This will help all the politicians to follow the divine messages of the God
thoroughly (Ansell, 2019). The legal and administrative codes are basically guided by Christian
divinity in several aspects. Therefore, politicians should commit their activities in the fair and
moral ways. The redemption of the sins should be done by applying all the good deeds.
The ethical perspectives of the evangelical faith are followed by most politicians who
have already devoted themselves to the Christian faith (Brown, 2018). The influence of the evil
spirit should not be within them because they only obey and follow the various messages of God.
The faithful behaviors of all the politicians should be guided by the messages of God. It is quite
evident that Jesus Christ declared He exists among all the human individuals and no one should

be inclined to any evil activity. In this scenario, politicians must not be engaged with any kind of
evil work that might denounce their reputation among followers.
Christian worldview has also been very helpful for the perspective of education and
sports. However, politics has been one arena where many debates have been raised due to the
unethical aspects (Ansell, 2019). If a person maintaining all the Christ like principles engages in
evil practices, he is definitely committing the sins. There are very few ways to eradicate this
sinful behavior from their body and soul. If the devoted Christians of this time engage in the
contemporary politics, they must always engage in the fairness and ethical treatment (Adogame,
2016). He should not forget the command of Jesus that Jesus has created all the creatures in the
world and it is the responsibility of individuals to respect each other. Pure Christians should
always get engaged in the politics because politicians having evil intentions will not be able to
govern the country without any partiality and unethical activities (Marshall, 2014). Only a pure
Christian will be able to govern the nation state in a manner as Jesus Christ would have done.
It is very much formidable that God will go to rule all the kingdoms of men with the use
of his ethical behaviors. It has been acclaimed in the Bible that God has designed His own
political agendas and manifesto for the human beings. Therefore, I think all of us should follow
the principles and teachings of Jesus in a fair manner (Keck & Sikkink, 2014). There are several
positive teachings on the word of God and all these teachings must be followed to rule the nation
state in the proper manner.
According to the Christians, God is the all benevolent being who will take care of the
nation and its people in the best manner. The role of the President or Prime Minister is also the
same and it is to take care of his people (Marshall, 2014). The politicians should possess a father

like attitude where they will guide the human beings towards their proper success. Otherwise, the
role of the politicians would be left as unfulfilled (Koyzis, 2019). God also took care of the earth
just as a political leader or father figure does. This is just by looking upon them as their children.
Thus, politics and Christian worldview can be juxtaposed for the benefit of the common people.
In the concluding note, I would like to say that politics and Christian worldview are very
closely connected in various ways. The influence of the Christian worldview on political
concepts has been discussed in the above essay. I should mention that the ethical considerations
of Christianity are indeed very crucial for the establishment of a perfect society. These factors
should be counted to make a up a positive community where the political leaders will contribute
their efforts for the betterment of the individuals as well as ensuring peace, progress and
prosperity all over.
