1. Enterprise system integration, architecture and implementation strategy of
Dynamic 365 at METINVEST.
Major of the IT infrastructure firms integrate their existing systems to build a new
system in order to provide more benefit to their consumers. Similarly, METINVEST, the
leading steel producer have made significant modifications in their internal framework of
the business in terms of implementing digital transformations. Digital transformation is
one of the fastest growing most challenging area at METINVEST and the relationship
with the major IT service firm that is Microsoft has led them to evaluate the Dynamic 365
as a way to improve their business process.
ERP implementation has several methodologies which include Comprehensive
method, Vanilla method and the Middle of the road method. The comprehensive
methodology is used for employing ERP system which allows the customer to track all
requirements related to the quality delivery of services while the Vanilla method is used
for CRM implementation without changing the system framework and thus does not
allow users to make any variations in the system. The Middle of the road method which is
the suggested methodology for implementing ERP at METINVEST is a combination of
both the mentioned methodologies. So it allows the user to make considerable changes in
the ERP system to some of their requirements which needs customer assistance while in
some cases preventing them from modifying the system architecture.
2. Business process management at METINVEST
Business process management is a tool for automating business operations in a
simplified way. It includes methods and tools to support the infrastructure of a business
process. It includes those business process which take extended time for completion. The
business process management tool is used to modify the existing process to a more

improved one by emphasizing on processes like analyzing the model, optimizing and
automating business processes and many more. The business operations of
METINVESTOR are facing challenges in terms of IT delivery to the extensive demands
from the clients and also in terms of tracking their accounts and internal business line. In
providing a solution to this issue, Dynamic 365 is implemented which improved their
internal project management system in terms of dynamically based IT delivery
infrastructure.
3. Application of Enterprise System Tools at METINVEST
METINVESTORs have used their enterprise system tools in several applications
like:
a) METINVESTOR group launched a CRM in terms of maintaining long term customer
relationship and delivering products according to customer demand.
b) METINVEST is making its BPM automated by installing an SAP framework to
enhance its data processing.
c) METINVEST utilized the ERP system at Ilyich Plant by implementing SAP which
will improve the business process management in terms of production, logistic
growth, financial growth and authorization management.
d) SAP MDG is an ERP based tool which is implemented at METINVEST’s business
process system to master data maintenance in the system. The advantages of using
MDG is that it can be altered by any standard transport requests and there is no need
for extra verification for the ERP system. All the processes running under this tool
will have a separate server and thus do not affect the performance of the ERP.
