DBMS referred to as Database Management System is mainly being used to store a large amount
of the data for different enterprises and the organizations. As a lot of advantages are being
addressed, the users are facilitated with a large number of facilities. The main advantage being
addressed is the accessing of the required data from a large amount of data in a minimum amount
of time (Coronel, C. and Morris, S., 2016). The instructions are being provided to the Database
by DBA that actually is the administrator of the database which properly guides the system for
making the changes if required. All these instructions by DBA’s are properly loaded, retrieved as
well as modified. Also, the database system helps in modifying the data wherever the changes
are required, full modification of the database is not required. A lot of databases are present, 4 of
them are:
 Hierarchical Databases
 Relational Databases
 Object-Oriented Databases
 Flat Databases
The databases mentioned above are meant for various purposes and are used in suitable places
and for different purposes. For each and every purpose, diverse databases are used keeping in
mind the requirements.
DBMS Tool used for this project is the best that could have been selected as it provides a lot of
advantages and benefits to the users (Abdullah et al., 2015). The advantages addressed are the
removal of a similar type of data, maintaining the consistency in the database and keeping the
data secure. Recovery of the data, as well as the availability of the backup data, is also one of the
major benefits provided to the user. The selected of the DBMS tool is also dependent upon the
low maintenance cost, easy transferring of the data and many more. As this tool is providing
such types of benefits, it is the best suitable for this type of the Project.

Part Number B
Decision Support System that is abbreviated as DSS helps in providing the assistance to the
various business and different organizations in order to take the decisions regarding the
management by the data utilization which purely belongs to the sales and provides different
advantages in the organization (Koskela et al., 2015). DSS is also used for the visualization of
the data and future analysis purposes, results and the production of the results. Also, DSS takes
the use of the facts and the stats for performing the various decisions.
For the provided scenario, the tool that is best suitable is the Decision Support System. The
reason behind selecting this tool is the presence of the data in the businesses as well as the
organizations in numbers as well as the stats format. The presence of data in such formats can be
easily accessed efficiently and can also be easily analyzed using the selected tool. All the data as
well as the important information related to the instrument’s sale, related prices or costs and also
the information related to the trades are also managed effectively and sort out by the DSS tool. It
also ensures the quality and provides the assurance of the various decisions taken for the stats of
the organization.
The cost which is additional as well as included in the part of the selling price used in the selling
of the goods is the Markup cost. This price is included in the goods from the side of the retailer
in order to earn the benefits. The formula being used here is:
Mark up% = (Sale price – Unit cost) * 100
A number of mark-ups are present in the business field and out of them the mark-up which is
store type is considered to be the most relevant and the important one. In order to select the type
of mark up, firstly it has to be properly maintained. If we see that the markup percentage is found
to be higher then the selling amount would definitely be high.
The amount of the discount that is being provided by the organization at various products or
items is considered to be the uncertain decision, in this case, the organization either gets a large
number of profits or a lot of losses can be faced. This opportunity is provided by the organization
in order to help the customer to enjoy all the possible profits.
The cost that is mainly being used in order to move the goods as well as the services and also the
cost of the transportation that is being used in the organizations is termed as Freight. Talking
further, this is directly proportional to the price of selling the products. Here, the freight type that
is being considered is Rostenkowski-Wolowitz Transport. For selecting the suitable country, all
the factors must be properly checked including the taxes and everything that has to be covered.
