Dear Mr. Ward
This is to inform you that, I want to apply for the post of Citizen Service Officer. This
was my aim till I was in school. As my grandfather was a citizen services officer. I have
observed my grandfather to fulfill the responsibilities of a Citizen Service Officer, with
confidence and pride. This motivated me to become a Citizen Service Officer in future.
Moreover, I am well aware of the criteria for the position as well as the duties of a citizen service
officer in Canada. The first and foremost criteria are to have a good knowledge of English
language, which I have acquired. Further, the job requires travelling to remote locations and look
after the employment as well as social welfare of those areas. As I have pursued Masters in
Social Work and I have the experience of field work, community development projects, I will be

The qualification I do not have is the technical skills like use of the software to measure
the growth rates of a particular area, application of software to make pre[pare the growth graphs
digitally, and also preparation as well as the management of the database. I have planned to
pursue appropriate trainings to acquire the specified technical skills.
This job is my dream job. One of the greatest reasons is that, this position is an honorable
position. Moreover by engaging in this occupation, I will be able to contribute to the well beings
of the needy people. Hence, I consider this opportunity very lucrative for me. I will be obliged ,
