INTRODUCTION
Database management system is a type of software that help for creating and managing
the data in appropriate manner. It provide the users and programmers with systematic way to
develop, retrieve, manage and update etc. database management system makes it possible for end
users to handle the task in proper manner. This report will discuss about the city college that
should develop database system to manage all the details of library management system. This
assignment will describe the concept of universal design to web pages and also understand for
operates an effective information system to meet the significant enterprise needs. This report will
discuss about the database system to create different tables and establish relationship between
them. In this report website screenshots of library management system has been attached, all the
SQL commands that are used to to create tables and insert vales in the tables have also been
attached, with data dictionary of the database ( Shih, Hwang and Chu, 2018 ). In this report
navigation forms are also attached which helps the users to easily access any web page in detail.

Information system is basically set of components that work together to manage and control the
data processing in appropriate manner. Information system strategy is an essential features in the
corporate or information which help the city college to allocate, store and process data where
they can develop or receive. A strategic information system is developed to respond the
corporate world and many other enterprise initiatives. They also used for giving the higher
advantage in education sector (Avison and Fitzgerald, 2018). Information system strategy is
necessary feature in the corporate world which enables and use the different tools in their
information repositories function. It allows them to recognise the resourceful opportunities for
the expansion and ways to enhance the operations. Here, a library management system has been
made will help the staff and members of the city college to access the library management
system in order to either insert or extract any information related to the library I.e. Whether it is
for insertion of book or author details or it is for extraction of publishers or members details etc.
Role of information system strategy
There are some specific role of information system where it establish a connection
between the demand of firms and latest information technology (Avison and Fitzgerald, 2018). It

also helping the business to get hold the market by utilising the information to meet its
challenging requirement. Information system plays a vital role in any organization in various
ways such as:
 It is the most critical aspect of enterprise for the organization expansion and growth while
integration of data system and its functions can be handled by easily.
 Information systems most of the time helps the organization in being strategic. It helps
the organization in making most of their tasks easier to be done (Williment 2019).

users of the system, how much access all the users have on the system.

different level of the society.
 It also provide sustainability to the organization and competitive advantage.
 At management level it helps the organization in monitoring, controlling administrative
activities of middle manager.
 At strategic level it helps in addressing strategic issues and long term trends of the
organization.
 At knowledge level it helps in designing attractive Boucher of the organization ( Shih,
Hwang and Chu, 2018 ).

The integration strategies are the applicable to cross management and members, reduce
the ineffective communication and cut the supplier costs. It is required for business process to
analyse the organization operations where manager can think in different ways to integrate with
processes to save both time and money (ChanLin and Hung, 2016). It helps to the streamline in
the operations and also reduce the overhead as well as personnel costs. Information system is
integrated with the business strategies because they can identify the need and requirement of
company to increase their productivity or profitability in marketplace.

As per the case study, it has developed a dynamic website of library management system
for managing and controlling all the operations in proper manner. Modern technology is
significantly boost the company performance and productivity (Eastman, 2018). Online library
management system useful for the city college to provide the best facilities and services. As per
scenario, it is designed an effective or dynamic website of library management to handle and
manage all the enterprise details or store in the system. It can be used the weebly free platform
for the purpose to create a website of city college library management system. It is designed in

It is very important for designing any type of system which needed to maintain the data
and information. It is also implements the new logical concepts for the development so that it has
required to understand the specific skill and mind set that help for operate an effective
information system (Fisk and et.al., 2018). There are some important skills and mind required for
designing the information system.
Skills: Innovation Skill - It plays important role in the information system to think innovative
ways and associated with the creation of new services. However, it comes in the different
forms where they can be used either particular process. Business information system has
required to develop an effective plans and implement in the system. An innovation
designer is practitioner with diverse the toolkit of capabilities that enable them to support
team and organization (Groomer and Murthy, 2018). They have skills to diverse the field
in terms of centred design, learning. Manager has shared the skill for the purpose of
knowledge to apply method with the team. Technical Skill – The Technical skill set required for development of enterprise to
implement the technical and logical concepts to handle every task in effective manner.
Having the skill, the technique help to know about the imperative for development in
effective information system within organization.
 Analytical skill- In order for the enterprise to have an effective technological foundation
in terms of information system. In this way, employee must posses the ability to easily
analyse and break down the complication situations (Mitchell, 2016). Analytical skills are
qualities associated with the problem solving that might include the business approach to
determine the need and requirement. It is an important skill which require for managing
