Statement

Education is the key of success which may help individuals to enhance their skills and
then grab appropriate career opportunities. Currently, the value of academics is continuously
increasing at global level because it is not possible for people to communicate with others who
belongs to different countries without education. In order to attain growth in life selecting best
suitable college is very important because it is the place where we can enhance our knowledge.
My name is XYZ and I am willing to pursue HND in construction and built environment in Civil
Engineering. It will help me to find effective solutions for issues that are affecting developed
technology. With the help of this course I will be able to choose best career for me from various
options such as management, design, architecture, building and land surveying etc.
I am able to work in teams and I have also have leadership skills that helps me to
accomplish all the allotted task successfully. Apart from this I am a curious person who is always
willing to explore new things. My focusing power is very good and I pay attention towards
effectiveness and transparency while performing all my duties. As I am harmonious that helps
me to remain calm in difficult situations. NVQ Level 2 mechanical engineering is being
completed by me and I have gained knowledge while this completion. Different things that have
been learnt while this course are working safely in engineering, interpreting and using the
information in appropriate manner. Along with this, skills that are required to carrying out all
activities in effective and efficient manner have also been acquired by me.
Currently I am working as a store assistant in Next where I am responsible to provide
advice to customers, taking payments from them and guiding them to find goods that they are
willing to buy. In my previous job where I was a football coach I was liable to plan coaching
activities, conduct training sessions and programs. Both the job roles have helped me to enhance
my skills to perform all the activities in appropriate manner. Previously I have also been
employed as a warehouse operative where I have carried out various tasks. These are monitoring
of damaged or missing items, picking and packing orders of company, keeping detailed record of
stock, storing goods in warehouses, taking delivery from suppliers and using lifting gear.
I have applied in your organisation which is Lcuck because the college is offering job to
individuals who have recognised qualification in construction and built environment in Civil
Engineering. According to me college focuses on providing academic knowledge as well as
practical skills so that they can attain success in the field where they choose a job. This the main
reason why I am willing to grab opportunity to undertake all my studies in your college. Lcuck
