Personal statement of Civil Engineering
I am applying for a place on the Civil Engineering course at the University of XYZ because I
am more interested in the topic. My interest in this field was first awakened during my
undergraduate studies at XYZ university where I studied about the civil engineering. My main
purpose for selecting XYZ university for Civil Engineering course was, they provide better job
placement that effects on my career growth and progress. I feel that by perusing for a degree in
civil engineering course, I can utilize the different types skills I increased my knowledge about
the Physics and Maths to a subject which is present as well as applicable almost everywhere in
the globe, at the same time period as learning new ways and skills of working.
I am able for studding civil engineering because I have entire skills require for such type of
course. These skills are technical training, mathematical skill, written communication skill, oral
communication skill, leadership skill, problem-solving skill, decision-making skill etc. By using
all these skills which I possess, I will be able to complete Civil Engineering course. I have
excellent communication skill that assist me in completion of all activities or tasks provided by
my tutor.
Such is my interest in this field as well as desire to learn much more that at university I would
read above and on the far side of course material I was provided. I desired to increase a
comprehensive view and knowingness of the field, so that I would have as more information as
achievable to make an effective or informed decision regarding this area as a possible future
career.
I have excellent in research that will be effective for university because it helps them in
publishing of all papers related to the subject. Along with this, during my civil engineering
study, I hope to be capable to increase my technical skill or knowledge. I also learn about new
perspective as well as pick up appropriate knowledge or understanding from a plethora of
fields. Therefore, I have appropriate knowledge about the civil engineering that effects on
university. This help XYZ university by improving its image in marketplace that turn to effect
in increment of students number.
