My name is abc and I am from civil engineering background. I have been always interested in
the subjects that are related to civil engineering because they are connected over the new ideas
related to civil engineering and its growth. I am average in studies but have achieved good
marks in the subjects relating to civil engineering. Also I have studied civil engineering from
Regent College, London. There have been many subjects in my complete course as I was more
interested in studying and gaining of practical knowledge or cases are included in studies. Civil
engineering is a subject where different fields like building of roads, and building technology are
covered in the syllabus. Civil engineering studies are another important part of this course as it
teaches students about how to ensure optimum utilisation of available resource to build an strong
architecture( Johns, 2019).
In my view, HND course provide basic information about various subjects and different
companies seek this qualification at the time of job openings. I enjoyed studying the subject of
my core fields as they didn't only enhance by theoretical knowledge but also developed some
important skills like how to conduct research, presentation skills, application of different
theoretical models.
My previous educational qualification includes general civil engineering course which
has developed by professional proficiency in entrepreneurial sector. Experiences that I have
gained in my academic year have helped me in generating of an effective thought process
regarding civil engineering. Also how things have managed and controlled within an dynamic
civil engineering environment. Professional point of view, my academic knowledge has also
been enhanced. The course of civil engineering has taught me few life skills that is going to help
me in my further studies.
It has always been a lesson for me that an individual’s interest and personality is the
results of their past experiences. My past education in civil engineering has taught me the tricks
and tactics of being a successful engineer, and this has fascinated me to learn about this subject
more. The teachings regarding civil engineering have inspired me to complete this course.
I have always been able to gain this in my knowledge that in order to be well qualified
university plays an important role. As I have to go for higher studies and has to do B.tech in civil
engineering the University of Northampton is far better choice for me. This specifies about

having highly skilled professors and trustable faculty members. This is my main reason to be a
part of its institution (Li and Deng, 2019).
Various other things are there that ahs excited me over learning of more in the subject but
the most important things is experience that I am going to gain in future. This is going to be an
lifetime experience and one of the most precious treasure of life. For this I can gain them only
through this course as I am excited about it also.
As I am having average academic skills, my studies and commitment regarding it has
always been high. The feedback that I have gained from my previous tutors. Has made me
realise that, I am a committed student who perform with best possible potential. I always try to
be best at academics. Due to which you should consider my application for your University. My
previous qualifications and experience will definitely cause me as a proud student for your
institution.
