Civil Rights Act of 1964
This article tells us about the origins and history of these act which ended the years of racial
apartheid for using the facilities available. It all started from 1896 and racial apartheid remain the
law till the 1960s. It all begin with Martin Luther King, Jr. along with leaders confronted other
congress members to abolish this law and go away with this racial apartheid. Mr. John F
kennedy, the US president during that time sent this proposal to congress for banishment of this
racial apartheid, however due his murder, the task proposal was taken forward by President
Johnson and historic Civil rights of 1964 was signed by him on 2nd July, 1964. Subsequently,
giving passage to other important legislation bills passed later (Clarkin, 2016).
Subcontracting Plans
Make or Buy Concepts
The firm has order for the subcontracts for $12.5 millions, the vendor chosen shall be awarded
the sub-contract for supply of hardware for the firm different departments such as furniture for
the HR, finance departments, Laptop and Mobile phones for field executives (Dempsey, 2017).
Monetary Incentives
In the case of furniture supply, the sub-contractor also have to make sure the installation,
maintenance of the furniture, and the same concept shall also be applied to the laptop and mobile
phones sub-contractors (Dempsey, 2017).
Subcontract management
The firm shall be the prime contractor in the case, they shall be governing the contract terms.
The timelines for the deliverables shall be decided mutually between the prime contractor and

sub-contracting parties. The adherence to costs shall be responsibility of prime contractor, as
whenever delivery is confirmed payment should be released for the sub-contractors (Dempsey,
2017).
