understanding the importance of minority right will be addressed in the paper.
Reasons in favor:
Minority rights are essential for the recognition of the minority groups. In order to
provide justice to the groups that are commonly the victim of discrimination and deprivation,
minority rights are developed.
It is the equity more than equality that is essential in order to bring harmony in the
society. Some people have been suppressed for centuries on the basis of their race, gender,
religion, ethnicity and related aspects. This have led them to become the socially backward group
with a large gap between the developed group. in order to eliminate the gap, it is important to
have minority rights which would help the minorities to fight back the discrimination against.
Minority rights are to protect the minorities from being the suppressed in the contemporary era.

However, there are some debaters who think minority rights are against the principle of
equality. Since it is a society of human being and every human is equal minority rights are the
