1. Define narrative provides context and overview of incidents.
In this given case study, there are three events that needed to be considered as are-
Addressing student needs- To create positive classroom environment I have taken step to
address student needs by providing authentic book and notes (Dubey and Ratnaparkhi, 2017).
The main purpose behind this is to provide proper stuff from which they can study properly.
After addressing this need in classroom, I have analysed that student seems to happier and
various behavioural incidents occurs far less frequently. It has helped me to engaged student
effectively and it increases their learning. Thus, teaching student in well effective procedure
creates a sense of understanding between both of them.
Classroom violence between students- I have intervene in the fight of students while I was
teaching my subject. I did it by engaging their minds and keeping them involved in lesson. I tried
to make changes smoothly so it helps to minimize disruptions. Thus, prevention of classroom
violence is one of my goal to create better and effective classroom environment. I work as to
maintain classroom discipline by predicting troubles and tries to spot changes in their behaviour
so that there can be possibilities to create effective environment.
Management strategies as Christian learning- I have observed one teacher who believes in
Christian thinking with respect to educational practice. He has adopted it, in terms to setting of
unified community of love and learning between parents, children and teachers. It is based on
thinking that education includes gaining of knowledge and having integration of learning, faith
and practices that helps to provide better learning students.
2. Discussion on extent to which teacher response consists with practices and principles
encountered in this subject.
Creation of classroom environment is essential to feel welcomed, valued and cared. With
use of effective teaching strategies there can be initiation of safe and inspired learning (Egeberg
and McConney, 2018). Thus, there are three incidents on basis of that I have responded in
following context as are-
To address needs of students- I have realized that by accessing the requirement of
students it is possible to creates sense of belonging, trust others, feel encouraged so that they can
able to tackled risk, challenges appropriately. Thus, he said developing a classroom environment
conducive to learning process is one of aim that entails staging physical space, getting student

corporate and to create the communal work environment. With help of addressing the needs of
student teacher can able to establish professional learning communities. I have provided student
specific referral guides, notes and other study material so that they can expand their learning in
confident manner. I took this step because I saw numbers of behavioural incidents of student
while they were not having particular stuff for learning. By addressing their need I felt that they
use to behave in obedient manner and performance graph of each student has also been
improvised. With help of it, students can able to have proper guide so that they can able to
priorities the things effectively. It has helped me to creates less behavioural incident.
The classroom environment will be consisting of broad range of educational concepts that
is inclusive of educational concepts, physical setting, psychological environment and it can be
achieve with social context, numerous instructional components of teacher characteristics and
behaviours. Thus, one of easiest way to make student learn is to tell them they have the ability to
enhance their learning and teacher should determined their needs with consultation of parents
and other professionals. Hence, positive classroom does not happen it can be created by teacher
himself. It is essential for teacher to be positive, confident, organised, outgoing and
compassionate.
Classroom violence between students- There was a incident that has taken place while I
was teaching in class, some issues happened between students and they started fighting. In order
to get cure of it, I took sudden action as to bring changes in mind of student by involving their
mind into other things. At times, teachers use to get confronts with violence creates by students
and that is imperative that they should take control on situation before it gets spirals out of
control. It is one of essential aspect in order to maintain positive classroom environment. With
help of stay tuned in class it is possible to handle situation that can create bad environment and
leads to hinder positive behaviour of student in classroom. In this, I also take steps to reinforce
positive actions and I have planned to distribute tangible reward in form of stickers, tokens,
candies and certificate for their well behaviour. I thought to organise this once in week to have
better interaction between students as it develops understanding between teacher and student. It
is crucial to feel connect with student to build positive classroom behaviour and student must
feel safe, warm and welcome (Lucero-Carrillo, 2017). Teacher should also provide instruction
and practices before they implement new teaching strategy in class.

Management strategies to promote Christian thinking- In order to develop discipline,
he was thinking to create Christian learning for establishing and maintaining environment that is
positive, tolerant and supportive for all students. To create a caring and supportive school
environment Christian perspective of education thinking will help the student to learn, develop
and to improve their self-esteem to accept their responsibility (Muratori and et.al., 2017). It was
implemented by one of teacher I was observing with purpose to understand better meaning of,
need for and process of integrating learning, practice and faith in every aspect of Christian
education. He has adopted it for directing of process of human development that leads to gods
objectives that may be perfect and it furnished into all good works.
The perspective of Christian thinking with regard to education is based on to believe in god
perception and do the things in ethical manner. Under it, students are able to provided with
necessary awareness of god and growth in godliness assists step by step regeneration towards
maturity. Christian perspective of education thinking teaches to be responsible about things and
to do any act in fairly (Sharma, Pathak and Sinha, 2017). Hence, Christian thinking with respect
to educational practice will help to develop following things as I have observed-
Integrity- With help of being consistently honest and trustworthy it is possible to make better
integration.
Excellence- There is need to get starving for highest personal achievement in context of
schooling, individual and community action work in life long manner.
Responsibility- It is essential to being accountable for individual and community actions
towards the environment.
Cooperation- In this, they need to work together to achieve one common goal, providing
support to another and engage in peaceful resolution of conflicts.
Fairness- With help of being committed to principle of social justice. opposing prejudice,
dishonesty and injustice. It is essential to treat individual in equal manner so that they can feel
safe and secure.
Late arrival- Late student must report to front office to have their name in attendance. The
promptness is essential in order to maintain positive classroom environment.
3. Identify changes in teacher actions. If any?
Education is not preparation of life but it is experience itself (Spadaro, Curiel and
Melchor, 2017). I have seen that teacher has started to encourage active participation and

experimentation with new ideas. To promote good learning teacher has adopted action as to
facilitate learning environment here student works as to teach each other. Hence, I have observed
that there is need to have some changes in teachers’ actions based on three incidents as are-
Addressing student needs- In order to make it more effective, I could have responded it as to
have closer monitoring to student who really needs it. With help of it I can able to making better
evaluation in student progress and lacking parts in their performance graph could be effectively
observed. I could have done it by providing standardised testing to each student so that abilities
of students would have been recognized. I should have focus on special needs instead of issues
affect quality of classroom environment.
Classroom violence between student- Under it, I could have appointed one monitor among
them so that he can keep tracking behaviour of student. It will help me to identify about student
who mislead the environment. With help of it, I would have taken some strict action towards
them so it can be improvised.
Management strategies as Christian learning- I could also frame some polices that relates to
maintenance of discipline instead of considering Christian thinking with respect to educational
practice. It will be helpful for me to adopt better strategies and that works as to create better and
positive classroom environment. With help of framing code of conduct and policies, the various
improvement can be seen as are improvement in punctuality as well efficiency, meet deadlines
and it is essential to show respect for colleagues and students (Sharma, Pathak and Sinha, 2017).
4. Evaluation on apparent success of teacher intervention.
It is need to be done in order to determine the success of teacher strategy. The plan of
actions which are taken by teacher in terms to have positive class room environment are needed
to be evaluated so that if there is something that is lacking can be improvised. Herein, success of
teacher intervention of following three incident as are-
Addressing student needs- By providing proper guidance to student they can feel motivated in
pursuing topics that are interesting and can provide disciplinary study. Thus, analysing wants of
student leads to achieve success by application of differed discipline that leads to have grater
creativity. Engaging faculty in development of value system works as defining fundamental
excellence in education, determining appropriate sources, evaluation of teaching so that
operation activities of firm can be conducted effectively (Muratori and et.al., 2017). In this,
information is needed to be gathered, assembled, measured and used so that there can be

improvement in teaching performance. Hence, there is need to have the use of measurement tools
so that success can be measured effectively.
Classroom violence between student- Teacher did it by immediately engaging student mind in
some other areas so it could be helpful to get overcome from issues between students. With help
of new policies, the teacher has started to establish clear rules and procedures for entire class to
develop the sense of belonging with them. In order to make each thing effectively it is essential
to recognize limitation of teacher themselves, they cannot be teacher, parent, social worker,
guidance counsellor, police officer etc.
Management strategies as Christian learning- In this, I have analysed that the teacher has
given appropriate solution for the incident that has taken into place. With help of teacher
intervention, it is possible to create positive classroom environment.
5. Evaluate the school’s welfare or class management policy. Are incidents has covered in
policy? Is this policy being sufficient for case? If not, then justify.
Better and effective discipline provides a peaceful and ordered environment that is
essential for effective learning as well for students to be safe and happy (Egeberg and
McConney, 2018). Thus, teacher should perform their duty in productive and satisfying manner.
In addition to it, style of maintain management is differ from class to class. For it, number of
policies has framed to support all teachers and guideline for procedures are needed to be used in
school for being involved in student discipline and welfare. The welfare encompasses the whole
of student well-being and healthy development (Cox, 2018.). It is inclusive of nurturing,
building, encouraging, protection, training, direction and correction of activities. I have observed
there are some polices as are-
Administering Medicines Policy
Advocates and Independent Visitors Policy
Anti-Bullying Policy
Anti-Cyber Bullying Policy
Child Sexual Exploitation Policy
Child Gone Missing on or Off-Site Policy
Child Missing Education Policy

There are no other policies that helps to maintain those above stated incidents. In order to create
effective environment in classroom some other policies are need to be framed so it will help to
keep away from incidents that can mislead positive environment in classroom.
With help of above it can be said that it can be said that the polices which has been given
are not justified for case and it is essential to frame other that can match with incident that has
taken place. In order to make all things effective this approach has to be considered. It will be
effective in terms to maintain positives classroom environment. Thus, integrity, excellence,
responsibility, cooperation, fairness and late arrival are main core values that are needed to be
develop in schools to make strict discipline environment.
