INTRODUCTION
It is essential to use technological advancements in teaching system so that teachers can
make education more interactive. Teaching technologies provide various advantages to the
students so that they can achieve their targets in appropriate manner (Ndyay, Nguyen and
Grunina, 2020). This report is based on Clearwater Primary school which is located in low socio
economic area. It is small primary school with no or limited number of digital resources. They
are unaware with the usage of digital technology which are devices that are more faster, compact
and lighter. It assist in increasing the knowledge and capabilities of students by providing more
information in less time frame. This report will include use of digital technology for particular
age group and recommendations for the resources which should be used by school.

Discussion
Digital technology plays important role in advancing the knowledge of students in
effective and efficient manner. It provides number of ideas which are essential for the
development of career of students. The selected age group of Clearwater Primary school is
middle learning community (Years ¾) . Implementation of digital technology is best suitable for
this age group of students as they can use the resources. The age of middle learning community
students are appropriate for observing new things (Chisango and et.al., 2020). The new learning
environment can easily adopted by those students because they better understand the importance
of digital technology. Their all the learning requirements are effectively fulfilled with the
assistance of digital resources like computers, projectors, laptops and mobile phones. According
to Australian curriculum this age of students requires new environment which provide them
better opportunity in their future career.
Recommendations
Clearwater Primary school have to provide some of the digital technological resources to
their students so that they can achieve growth exposure. It transform the society by adding
innovation in the educational system. Assistance of digital technology improves the quality of
learning by providing different new ways. The product or resource which Clearwater Primary
school can install in their school are as follows:

Computers: It refers to the digital electronic machine which can be use for different
activities including programming of logical and arithmetic operations (Umarboevna and
Fayzieva, 2021). It works on instructions which are given by hardware and software program. It
accept data which users giver which is further processed for produce final outputs. According to
the Australian curriculum students can increase their productivity with the help of computers.
Features of computer
 Computers are highly accurate which eliminate mistakes and errors. It provides results
which are positive so that students can increase their abilities.
 Speed of internet is higher as compare to humans which assist in learning in faster
manner. It save lot of time which provides opportunity to perform number of operations.
Benefits of computers
 Computers assist students and teachers of Clearwater Primary school in storing huge
amount of data and information which they utilize for their learnings. It possess enough
of capacity storage which includes books and other study materials according to the
Australian curriculum.
 Students can learn how to run and work on software which makes them more productive
and knowledgable (Tortorella, Narayanamurthy and Cauchick-Miguel, 2021). Computers
provide understanding of word processors which assist in storing, creating, sharing and
editing. It reduces the manual efforts and faster the operations with involvement of less
efforts.
Limitations of computers
 Excessive use of computers may increase dependency of students on the the digital
products like computer. It involves features like spell checker which is highly important
but may affect the learning power of students by autocorrecting them. Clearwater
Primary school may focus on the limit of usage of digital resources.
 Personal information which are stored in computer results in lack of privacy. It increase
the risk of threats and access to unauthorised persons. Malicious persons can misuse the
information of students which need to be maintain proper security according to the
Australian curriculum.
Internet: This digital resource provides connectivity of different digital devices such as
websites, computers, webpages and servers. Students can access to large number of information

from different search engines which increase their knowledge and ability. Clearwater Primary
school can install internet services in their school for their middle learning community. Internet
provides opportunity in creating communication medium in order to share information through
online platforms.

 It is highly accessible which provides access to global services (Curtis, 2019). Internet
allows users for getting information from different parts of world.
 Cost of internet is lower and affordable which is very attractive feature. Students can use
internet in their students by investing limited financial resources.
Benefits of internet
 Students get opportunity of online learning with the help of internet which make learning
easier and faster. Clearwater Primary school should install internet in their school as it
reduce difficulties of students by providing them various alternatives. Internet increases
the research ability of students which enhance their skills.
 Internet gives opportunity to students of self study which does not involve teachers. It
provides number of options to students such as bing, google and yahoo which includes
study material (Stephenson, ed., 2018). Students of Clearwater Primary school can study
anytime and anywhere without assistance of teachers.
Limitations of internet
 Use of internet by students of middle learning community may results in addiction.
Internet is wider platform which involves large number of activities which influence the
mind of students in negative manner. Students can misuse internet for their personal
entertainment such as online games which affect their productivity.
 Some of the students face health concerns by using internet on regular basis. Due to
increased screen time, students go through problems like headache, eye pain and back
pain. Clearwater Primary school should ensure that their students use this resource for
important activities only.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that technology plays important role in
providing knowledge to students. Teaching system can involve different digital resources so that
they can improve the mind set of students. It create possibility for students to interact with each
other, involve in research and development and involve in social networking which sharpen their
mind to great extent. This report included about the advantages and disadvantages of digital
resources in schools along with their features.
