INTRODUCTION
Reflection is nothing but the process of representation of own work (Storbacka, 2011).
This describes what some one has done and how they have accomplish the task. In this report, I
have explained my own business plan that I have created for Cleopatra spa. For this I done deep
researches about market, various resources, company new business plan, launching event, etc.
TASK
I have observed Cleopatra is a spa corporation that wishes to offer their diversified
products and services to large number of people in London in order to attract them. Their main
aim is give beauty treatment that involves Swedish, relaxation massage, aromatherapy, deep
tissue, sport, etc. In addition to this, company also wants to offer services like scrub treatment,
body wraps, classes of yoga, gym, aerobics, spin, fitness, etc. I examined that they are willing to
provide natural products to their clients from spa so that they can remain fit and healthy. In
order to analyse market, I have done PESTLE analysis so that I can better understand about
position of Cleopatra in UK. From which I have observed that political situation of UK is strong
and supports to the newly started firm. Government is imposing low rate of taxes which helps
this venture in doing their business properly and provides them opportunity to generate large sum
of income.
On the other hand, economic condition of London is also good. I have analysed that
income of people is high and this is the reason that they are purchasing or taking services of
Cleopatra. This in turn assist firm in generating profit as demand of their products or services is
increases rapidly. Coming to social factor in London. People are highly educated and are open
minded and because of this they are taking spa services regularly as they want to maintain their
charm and beauty (Kassean and et. al., 2015). I have seen technology has developed a lot.
Company is also taking use of modern technology in giving body treatments and providences of
massage. This as a result helps in implementing business activities very easily in minimum time
as well.
Besides this, I realised that legal factors are also impacting positively on the functioning
of Cleopatra. Government has made simpler legislations and norms for those companies which is
starting any business. This helps the cited organisation in saving their money as well as time that
may get consumed in following various laws. Apart from this, easy policies can be adopted

factors like political, social, technological, economic, etc. are giving positive impact on the
working of Cleopatra. These all are supporting firm in establishing their business effectively and
helps it in earning large sum of profits.
I have also done investigation about the competitors of firm and from which I realised
that large number of challengers are present in this industry of spa in London. This in turn are
giving negative affect on the performance of Cleopatra spa as they all are providing same
services at low prices. The House of ELEMIS is considered as its main competitor that is also
operating its business in UK (Gondo and Amis, 2013). This is very old firm and has already
captured market of spa. Due to this, customers get segmented and in turn sales rate of venture get
reduced. Company is facing losses as it is very difficult to acquire market in initial level.
According to me, Cleopatra spa should investigate about the planning and strategies of their
challengers so that they can identify their weaknesses and after that they can make their own
plan. This will help them in creating something new and innovative so that they can seek
attention of large number of customers towards their services.
I thought that company also should make a marketing strategy whereby they should
decide about the pricing of their goods and services. I explored that Cleopatra spa is adopting
effectual pricing scheme in order to fix the cost of their several services or products. For this,
they have done a market research for finding out how an individual can pay for a specific
service. On the basis of that, they are going to offer their services. In addition to this, they are
also launching their events in London wherein they are inviting large number of media
representatives which can cover their event live and convey this to their customers. This is
helping them in making publicity of their newly launched products and services in order to make
consumers familiar about that. Cleopatra can also use different other advertising techniques.
They can take use of social media as has a wider range and are inexpensive in nature. Young
generations are using social media at greater extent so they can get attracted towards their spa
