AI Summary
This assignment presents a Climate Action Plan (CAP) designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and CO2 emissions within the context of A Bathing Ape (BAPE), a clothing company. The plan outlines a vision of creating a healthy living environment through research and awareness, with the goal of reducing emissions from transportation and manufacturing. The plan, named "DAYTON CLIMATE ACTION AND A BATHING APE PLAN", includes strategies such as promoting non-carbon-based fuels, waste disposal programs, tree planting, and alternative transportation. The Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory involves establishing emission boundaries, data collection, calculations, quality control, and monitoring. The plan suggests reducing emissions by promoting non-carbon based fuels and proper waste disposal. Offsetting emissions involves eradicating carbon-based fuel production and implementing penalties for non-compliance. The CAP is structured in the following steps: Vision, Goals, Plans, GHG Inventory, Reduction and Offsetting Emissions. The student has provided a comprehensive plan and included a reference list to support their work.

CLIMATE ACTION PLAN
Climate changes have gradually been experienced in many regions across the globe. These are
caused by human activities such as deforestation and the greenhouse effects which have
significantly caused global warming (Boswell et al, 2012). There is, therefore, need to create a
climate action plan. This research work has created a climate action plan aimed at reducing
Green House gasses and Co2 emission to the atmosphere and therefore, improving the living
standards in our environment.
VISION.
The vision of this Climate Action plan is to create a healthy living environment through research
and creation of awareness on the need to reduce Green House Gasses and control Carbon dioxide
emitted to the atmosphere by automotive machines and supply chain clothing manufacturing
companies.
GOALS.
The name of this plan is DAYTON CLIMATE ACTION AND A BATHING APE PLAN. The
following are the goals of this plan;
Provide detailed information on the need to avoid using carbon-based fuels in operating
automotive machines.
Create awareness on the need to use environment-friendly means of transport such as
bicycles in movements over short distances.
Encouraging recycling of solid waste to prevent and avoid dumping in various sites
which could release carbon to the atmosphere.

SUSTAINABILITY AND FUTURE OF FASHION3
Enact tree planting initiatives to help in carbon dioxide absorption and reduce the risks of
global warming.
These goals are aimed at being achieved in the shortest time possible.
PLAN.
The plans aimed at reducing carbon dioxide emission are very important and requires collective
responsibility from the society and the government. The first plan is by, the government carrying
out a survey on fuel industries and advising on the need to produce non-carbon based and lead
fuels. This will help in ensuring that the gasses released to the atmosphere do not have much of
an impact on the environment. The second plan is to conduct a proper waste disposal program
and discourage the burning of solid wastes which could otherwise be harmful to the environment
(Delbeke and Vis, 2015). The third plan is conducting tree planting surveys and seminars with
the aim of reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Furthermore, plans on educating society
on the need to utilize alternative means of transport such as bicycles should be in place. Lastly, is
keeping the records on the various global warming effects and what caused them. These will help
in reducing the number of pollutants to the atmosphere.
PREPARATION OF GHG INVENTORY.
Establishing an emission boundary- the main sources of emissions are from vehicles which are
being commonly used in movements of people and transportation of goods.
Collection of data- data collection is from sources such as fuel manufacture industries and
surveys on the number of vehicles involved in the transport of good and people (Haines, 2017).

SUSTAINABILITY AND FUTURE OF FASHION4
Calculations- involve data collected and performing calculations using the Greenhouse protocol
tools.
Quality control- making a greenhouse gas inventory, to be used in implementing actions, using
the data simulated from calculations initially done.
Monitoring- carrying out a survey to determine whether the action plans put in place are utilized
effectively.
HOW TO REDUCE EMISSIONS
Encouraging the need to use non-carbon based fuels, and adopting proper solid waste disposal
programs (Yalçın and Lefèvre, 2012).
HOW TO OFFSET EMISSIONS
Eradicate the production of carbon-based fuels and heavy punishment on companies found to
produce them.
