INTRODUCTION
The worst in the world happening today is the climate change in an unprecedented way. Climate
change causes increase in earth temperature which is threat to every living habitat in the world. It
is expected by many climate experts that if there is continuous rise in earth temperature then
there will be a impact on the availability of natural water, food, energy and it can destroy the
ecology of the earth. The risk is expected and there requires an immediate redress action by way
of campaigns, events , ideas and planing in order to cope with climate change. The governments
and the international institutions has to initiate an action plan to curb the problems of climate
change. The local communities , NGOs and volunteers participation is also required to make
aware the public about the disastrous threat that is standing and by collective efforts the threat of
climate change can be reduced and sustainability can be achieved with the positive efforts and
planning. Climate change affecting the natural habitats along with that the artificial entity that
which is business organisation whether small or large facing the heat of the same. The report
will cover impact of climate change on the business organisation and the effective remedial
actions to sustain climate change impact on the businesses.

Many reports and researches have disclosed the present status of the climate change and its
impact that caused grave implications not only on the natural habitats existing on the earth but
the business organisations small or large of every sector facing serious consequences of climate
change. The term climate change associated with the natural uncertainties which used to happen
rarely but as per the data and records of several past decades there is frequent rise in such natural
disasters which is the result of climate change and global warming such as : hurricanes.
Tornados, rising sea level , tsunami, shifting of tectonic plates, less rainfall etc. are the major
natural events happening around the world. The whether events directly affects the life of the
people and the entire system which is established by the people. It causes negative impact on the
worldwide economic sector, the records of the year 2020 shows that due to natural calamities the

world economic has affected nearly as 70 percent which is a huge. Businesses have impacted
more due this events as it directly affects its growth and sustainability. To sustain a positive
business it is necessary to make business sustainable from every aspect.
The major implications that a business faces due to climate change are as follows:
Operational Impact: business organisation are experiencing that there are various changes that
are being conducted in their business operations with the view to prevent any future uncertainties
which may affect their workforce and facility.
Costing Natural Resources: natural resources means the basic natural needs of the human such
as natural water , food and energy. The risk associated with Climate change has a direct impact
on all the natural resources that is being consumed by the people including other living beings.
These changes challenges the authenticity of the business organisation and its existence.
Damaging Reputation: reputation in the sense of brand and culture of the business. The concept
and the idea upon which a business established largely affects due to serious consequences
occurs due to environmental change. In terms of threat to business there are other factors also
which leads to affect the business functionality. physical damage like property and transport and
other infrastructure of the businesses.
The main cause that leads to climate change is the human activities which is directly interrupting
and challenging the natural standards in the name of growth and development. Development is
indeed important for the advancement of human life,but not with such extreme measures which
disturbs the natural architecture. Across the globe huge number of projects have been executing
and operating by giant business corporations. The technology and internet boom have resulted
easy access with the world from communication to trade it has become easy to establish
cooperation's with any part of the world. The business around the globe are regularised by the
varieties of law which pertains to business management and its faculties. The liability is also
imposed on these by way of rules and regulations to prohibit actions that are against the business
environmental ethics. Strict punitive measures must be imposed upon the pollutes who fails to
mitigate or comply with the legal obligations.
Global climate change has observed many serious environmental effects such as shrinking of
glaciers and rising of sea level is a very papular issue which needs to address. There are several
instances of floods and drought happening across the world which is directly affecting the
agriculture farming. Many companies source their raw material from the global suppliers for

manufacturing and this practice increase in climate changes which led to increase in carbon
footprints which may account for failure of the company.
The term carbon footprints denotes the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, it
includes greenhouse gases which emits by large manufacturing plastic products and other
necessary activity from manufacturing to its consumption accounts to carbon footprints. In order
to reduce carbon footprints appropriate measures needs to be followed such as Reduce, Recycle
and Reuse(3R). Other measures can be followed such as sue of sustainable sources, create
awareness among the people to reduce consumption of products which creates harm to the
environment, educate employees and choose renewable energy.
CONCLUSION
The above report concludes about the problems and consequences of climate change. Further it
also suggests the remedial measures in order to curb and prevent climate change. The main area
which this report covers is the reduction of carbon footprints emitted by the business
organisation and the suggestions addressed to reduce emission by adopting effective measures to
reduce carbon footprints.
