AI Summary
This essay explores the multifaceted impacts of climate change, focusing on the author's pessimistic perspective regarding its future consequences. It highlights the rising sea levels, attributed to warming oceans, and the increase in extreme weather events like heat waves and desert expansion. The essay discusses the acidification of oceans due to greenhouse gas emissions, which further exacerbates the issue. It also addresses the melting of glaciers in the Arctic Circle, leading to water scarcity for dependent populations, and the adverse effects of climate change on crop yields, food security, and biodiversity, including plant and animal extinctions. The essay emphasizes the link between climate change and health issues and the observable changes in temperature patterns, concluding with a call for immediate action to mitigate the impending global disasters.

1IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE
The temperature or climate is changing constantly. This is not at all an indication of
something positive (Finn) It is going to bring huge disastrous results in the upcoming future of
our lives if proper efforts are not been taken in order to prevent the disasters that are coming
considering the change of the climate (Kawashima) The main aim of the paper is to understand
the impact that climate change has upon the people. Therefore in this paper, I will be shedding
light upon the disastrous effects that climate change will be bringing in the upcoming future if no
steps are being taken. Therefore, it can be said that I am very much pessimistic or concerned
about the future of human beings since it is very much in the state of danger in the present state.
One of the reasons why everybody should be concerned or very much pessimistic about
climate change is that as a result of the sea change, the levels of the sea are rising (Ross)
Consequently, it can be said that the oceans are becoming very much warmer. Global warming is
one of the disastrous impacts of the change in the climate. Some of the effects are the rise in the
sea levels, changes in precipitation as per the varying regions, consistent extreme weather events
like the heat waves and the expansion of deserts (Ruhl) The acidification of the oceans is also
caused by the emission of the huge amount of greenhouse gasses that are prevalent in the
atmosphere. The temperature of the surface tends to increase more in the region of the Arctic
Circle. This has resulted in the retreat of the glaciers. As a result of the warming of the
temperatures, the glaciers in the Arctic Circle are melting away (Underwood) The people of the
region who were dependent upon the glaciers for the supply of the water are suffering a lot since
the glaciers are getting melted. On the other hand, climate change is also the leading cause of the
diminishing of the crop yields, harming the security of the food. as a result of climate change,
there has been a disast-rous impact upon the plant and the animal species. Much of the animals
and that of the plants tend to get extinct as a result of climate change. The change of climate is

also the leading cause of the drought and floods. It is significantly affecting agriculture as much
of the crops do not grow in the time of the drought. Much of the health issues also tend to rise
because of the effect of the rise of greenhouse gases which is the leading cause of climate
change (Walsh). The climate change is more absolutely seen in the change of temperature
between the different types of weather as the summer, winter and even between the day and the
night.
In the present situation, the change in the climate is very much observable. It is having
great disaster upon the present situation. If no action or initiative is being taken now then the
world is going to suffer a lot in the upcoming future. Therefore, being pessimistic about the
climate change of the world is very much justified.
