REFLECTION 1
Weekly Reflection 1: global political systems and associated issues
At the beginning of the week, I started learning basics about global political systems. I
got to know that the global political system can is, the network which is used to study the
political as well as economic patterns of the whole world. This week allowed me to learn that
there are so many different processes of political globalization comes under global political
systems.
My knowledge-based this week suggests that a global issue can be an international
issue that adversely impacts the international environment and community catastrophically
(Held et al., 2017). In the context of the nature of global political issues, I found that such
issues can be political crises, environmental issues, economic crises, and social issues. I had a
little knowledge about politics hence after learning this week, I have realized that effective
solutions to all of the global political issues lie in cooperation among global nations. In this
way, in my opinion, current global political issues have become more common and complex
worldwide and hence needs to be addressed well.

REFLECTION 2
Weekly Reflection 2: climate change and associated issues
During this week, I have learned a lot about climate change and associated issues. I
would like to mention that my previous knowledge about climate change was only news and
articles based which were read by me earlier. This week made me learn deeper knowledge
regarding climate change as I got to know the process, causes, effects, and issues related to
climate change. As per my evolved opinion, climate change is the changing weather and
climate pattern caused by the greenhouse effect and global warming (NASA, 2019).
Based on this week’s learning, I have realized that human actions are contributing
towards global warming constantly and hence issues like increased overall earth’s
temperature, pollution, melted glacier, warmer oceans, and many others are rising day-by-day
(NASA, 2019). In this way, I believe that to mitigate the effect of climate change as well as
address these climate change associated issues, humans need to work towards sustainable
development.
