decades, this will affect the large and diverse group of people potentially. In this era of
urbanization the most affected people due to global climate change will be the people residing in
the urban region. However, their vulnerabilities are different as there are differing climate change
events such as heat waves, landslides, flooding and devastating storms affect specific population
group in different ways.
This study by Reckien et al. (2017) have brought urban quality questions to the front that relates to
the sustainability goals. There are sensitivity factors which affect the gender and socio economic
status. This study has synthesized the findings with the regard to the equality types like process
oriented, outcome oriented and context oriented equity. Finally it has suggested the solutions to
avoid the increased equity as well as the justice concerns among the climate change affected urban

the high expenditure of the installation of the equipment. Like all the
other renewable resources of energy, the solar, wind and nuclear
energy are exceedingly cheap to operate and their fuel is free but the
main expenses relate to the construction cost. Secondly, the issues
relating to sitting and transmission also leads to be the barrier of
using renewal; energy (Owusu & Asumadu-Sarkodie, 2016). Sitting is
the lactating of land where the infrastructure will be developed and
transmission reflects he power lines needed for moving electricity to
the targeted places. These barriers of the usage of renewable energy
for attaining sustainable growth include issues with reliability of these
clean energy. All these barriers are opposing the SDGs to be fulfilled
(Lu et al., 2015). Unless the sustainability goals will be fulfilled, the
problems of homelessness, refugee issues, flood, highly devastating
storm, earthquake, rising sea level, demolition of terrestrial and
aquatic animals and finally heightening temperature of the earth will
