Climate Change: The Beginning of the End?
It is evident that the recent topic of concern for the whole world is ‘Climate Change’
because of its detrimental effects to the earth, which is leading to some extreme reactions by our
Mother Nature. It is necessary to know what the cause is and how it should be stopped so that the
ecosystem can survive in peace without the interference of manmade issues.
In the recent times, our social media accounts or the news daily in our television are
showing the same thing that is known as climate change. People from different nations including
environmentalists, socialists and healthcare experts are joining forces to counter the effects of
climate change. World conferences, legislations and environmental summits have been giving
more and more publicity to the issue of climate change, which is alarming for the people living
in the present as well as the future generations. Some of the common effects of climate change
are melting glaciers, water level rising, intense heat waves and emission of greenhouse gases that
needs surveillance and monitoring. Not only it has been impacting people socially and
nutritionally but it has also been affecting organizations and individuals financially, which
affects the economy of the whole world because climate change is destroying natural resources
as well as manmade structures. On an alarming note, the temperature of the earth is rising every
day and that is increasing the negative impact it has on the world. The irony of the situation is
that the reason for all these effects are humans and they are the same species who are protesting
for climate change. This makes another point that the future needs to be saved from the impact of
climate change as it includes the rise of temperature leading to more intense summer season and
short duration of winters, influences the length of the growing season, which is not favorable for
the agricultural industry in several developed countries, change in the pattern of precipitation,
increase in drought, higher prevalence of natural disasters such as hurricanes and storms, and

Arctic going through an ice melt down leading to 1-4 feet rise in the sea level. Australia
experienced a forest fire that contributed to climate change and the loss of a densely populated
habit of millions species.
It is essential to realize the intensity of the situation and work towards a better future that
has no impact of climate change.
