Individual learning needs
As a healthcare professional, I am willing to emphasize my clinical
practice experience on cardio pulmonary resuscitation [CPR] . In this
regards, focus of would be given on basic life support and advanced
cardiac life support . The reason of opting, the particular clinical
experience is because of my previous working experience in my home
country in emergency department as a staff nurse . The exposure in
emergency department has helped in realizing the significance of CPR in
the service delivery .
The chosen clinical practice experience and associated learning
contract would turn out to be beneficial in enhancing my skills and
knowledge to improve my efficacy while operating in emergency
department . It would also allow me to provide care users with holistic
patient care and deliver quality care services (Aqel & Ahmad, 2014) . In
addition to that, gaining specific knowledge on basic life support and
advanced cardiac life support and incorporating it in learning outcomes
would help in specialising in CPR .
Learning objectives
1 .In order to learn the skills associated with CPR and ensure that
it is provided to patients suffering from cardiac arrest, emphasis would be

cardiac life support [ACLS] . Having an understanding of BLS would be
beneficial in acquiring knowledge in ACLS . Thus, the skills and
knowledge gained with its help would be beneficial in providing with
clinical interventions in cases involving stroke, cardiac arrest and life
threatening cardiovascular emergencies and provide with urgent treatment
