This presentation reflects on a student's experience in clinical simulation lab sessions, focusing on the development of clinical skills and decision-making. It details three specific nursing interventions: Myocardial Infarction, Post Tracheostomy Care, and Hypoglycemia, linking each to the NMBA Registered Nurses Standards for Practice (2016). The presentation identifies interprofessional team members involved in the simulations and their contributions to patient outcomes. Utilizing Gibbs' reflective cycle, the student analyzes their own practice, identifying areas for improvement in communication and teamwork, and outlines a SMART action plan to address these deficits. The presentation concludes by emphasizing the importance of clinical simulation in preparing students for real-world healthcare scenarios.
