Executive Summary

Research indicates that digital technology transforms the innovation process across all
types of organizations. Nevertheless, there have been lots of barriers to digital technology like
shortage of digital thinkers which have hold majority of companies. One of the importance of
advanced technology is that has smoothened the process of communication both within the
organization and external communication. Cloud computing technology is revolutionizing lots of
businesses on several levels. This research paper presents how ABC can implement cloud
computing as a method of implementing faster communication channel.

Introduction to research domain
In the current 21st century computer technology is changing both private and public
sector. In addition, organizations are witnessing faster development of information technology.
The advantages of cloud computing is playing a very essential role in sustainability and IT
strategies. If organizations wants to improve on efficiency and its business process, reduce
emissions of IT operations then organizations ought to improve them by implementing cloud
computing technologies. According to crina veronica (2013), is a faster way that makes a
revolution in IT with agility, scalability, low costs.
ABC solution is one of the leading firms in the UK. The company deals with IT related
services and productivity. The company is situated in several countries across the globe but the
main office is located in the UK. The company staff do not get real time data which in turn has
resulted to errors occurring in the organization service and database. Over 50 percent of the ABC
managers have raised concern on slow improvement of technology within the organization. In
lieu to this research paper presents reasons as to why ABC need to implement cloud computing
as a solution to some of these organization issues (Liu, 2014)

1. What are some of benefits of implementing cloud computing within an organization?
2. Which is the best cloud computing solution that ABC solution can get?
Problem statement
The current era is said to be a period of digitization and era of information. In an
organization set-up such as ABC solution communication is inevitable thus it is essential to have
an advanced technology that will assist in carrying out the daily organization activities. Cloud
computing is the current used type of technology by most of global companies such Amazon,
IBM, Google. ABC company needs to deploy cloud computing as is offers collaboration.
Second, cloud computing offers an effective communication platform and assess to automatic
updates for AMC IT requirements (Rountree & Castrillo, 2016).
Project Objectives
The aim of this research to find out the best solution to cloud computing which offers
faster communication and faster data sharing.
Project justification
Given some of the issues faced by ABC Company, it is evident that traditional
methodology is not effective and cannot result to good productivity. This project outlines the
reasons as to why ABC Company is the only solution to the current issues that it faces
Project deliverables
Migration to legacy technology is the only way that enables an organization achieve its
desired goals. Deliverables for this project will help in gaining an effective insight on the
implementation of cloud computing and some of the steps that an organization needs to take

when implementing cloud computing. Also the project will list some of the best cloud solutions
and outline the best cloud solution

Overview of Cloud computing
John McCathy coined the idea of cloud computing in 1961. ABC solutions needs to note
that the implementation activities for cloud solution are the same to that of an outsourced
solution. The very first step is to build a business model. In here ABC solution needs to develop
an agency approach to cloud-based services. Also, gathering of business requirements is done to
form the basis for business care, testing, implementation, and sourcing. The second step is to
assess the risks. In here ABC solution needs to undertake an initial threat and risk assessment
which be done in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009 risk management guideline. The
third step is to capture business requirements. In here an organization needs to list functional,
standard, performance, security, and manageability requirements. The forth is to build a
business case which provide a business rationale which solves the current ABC problem. Fifth, is
to prepare an exist strategy of the current technology and them determine contractual terms
(Srinivasan, 2014).
Cloud computing solutions
There are about seven cloud computing solutions which have been implemented by
various organizations and companies. Example is Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
These two solutions enables an organization to put costly IT resources in the cloud. Web services
is another business solution which allows an organization to select various web functions using
UDDI and XML. SaaS is another cloud business solution which provides cloud tenants access to
various applications. Others are IaaS, and PaaS (Agramont, 2017)

Future trends in cloud computing
It is evident that cloud computing is changing businesses in many ways. Most smart
business are looking for the most innovative ways to accomplish organization objectives using
cloud computing. Future growth in cloud computing started when the growth of IaaS and PaaS
expanded cloud solutions number which are available in both private and public sector. One of
the future trends in cloud computing are an increased in storage capacity, growth in cloud
services, enhanced internet quality, and the introduction of the internet of things.

high end databases which in turn gives ABC company a better understanding. Some of the
features that ABC solutions will benefit from are serverless cloud solutions, databases which will
include data warehouse, non-relational database, graph databases and multiple storage such as
Amazon glacier, amazon simple storage service and Amazon EBS
Discussion
Governments and companies are adopting cloud computing to enhance their business
operations. Cloud computing technology is recognized widely as a game changer Nevertheless
most of companies have not recognized full potential of cloud computing such as ABC
Company. Some of the shining benefits of cloud computing is through flexibility, offering
business scalability, and effective communication. Some of the companies which have
implemented cloud computing are Hartford which has transformed the way it delivers its IT
services, Dekhaize America which one of the biggest food lion in America, and Person which
has made the company transform the way it delivers education (Guido, n.d). Thus with cloud
computing ABC will reap the same benefits as these companies.
Findings
From the ABC company activities, the company needs to go for AWS cloud computing
solution. AWS offers flexible, cost-effective and easy to use cloud computing solutions. With
AWS lambda ABC solutions will in a position to run all its functions in the cloud. In addition,
AWS offers adverse tools which the organization can use to communicate effectively.

Conclusion
The current 21st century offers advancement of technology, where every person demands
for optimum service with minimum usage of resources. Cloud computing technology has
emerged as one of the compelling type of technology for delivering and managing services over
the internet. This paper has outlined how ABC solution can implement cloud computing and the
best cloud computing solution that the company can go for; AWS cloud computing solution.
