Theme 1: How many different types are cloud delivery models?

Interpretation: On the basis of above graph, it can clearly be said that there are number of cloud
delivery models. As the main aim of conducting this research and collecting primary data was
knowing compliance issues that are associated with cloud computing along with identifying
strategies for solving them. So, participants were asked about different types of cloud delivery
models. In this context, 2 participants said that there is one main cloud delivery system that is
infrastructure as a service that includes an operating system, networking, storage and some
different types of utility software. In addition, 5 participants stated that as per them there are 2
main cloud delivery systems that are IaaS platform as a system. Platform as a system is a
combining infrastructure, software development. This model makes their company able in
creating applications on a cloud. 8 employees of amazon said that along with PaaS and IaaS
there is one more effective cloud delivery model that is software as a service. Majority or 15
employees stated that there are in total 4 types of cloud delivery models that play a vital role in
improving organisations’ operations. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and FaaS. Function as a software gives a

platform for customers to manage and build app functionalities without facing any difficult of
infrastructure maintenance. Overall, it can be said that employees of Amazon have knowledge
regarding all main types of cloud delivery models.

Interpretation: As there is no doubt that cloud computing has made beneficial to companies as
it has made easier to store and manage big data. In regard to characteristics of cloud computing,
8 employees stated that reliability is one of the main feature, associated with cloud computing.
They said that computation and resources in this system can be dependable for accessibility. 7
participants stated that scalability and dynamic provisioning of data in this system help out
companies in scaling. 10 employees said that multi tenancy such as sharing resources among a
large group of users is the main feature of cloud computing. 5 respondents interpreted that agility
is the main feature as it helps their company out in re-provisioning of resources in an effective

manner. Overall, it can be said that there are number of characteristics of cloud computing that
can make beneficial to companies to the great extent.
Theme 3: Do you have knowledge about different version of cloud?

Interpretation: On the basis of above graph, it can be said that majority of participants have
knowledge regarding different version of cloud as 23 respondents out of 30 said yes as they
know about this. In addition, they also said that public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud and
multi cloud are some main version of cloud. Public cloud is the version in which networking,
storage and hardware owned by a third party for usage by other companies. Private cloud is the
one in which hardware applications and storages are operated by an organization for usages of
their employees and customers. Private version of cloud is being managed and created by third
party. Hybrid is the most used type of version in which companies make use of combination of
private computing resources as well as public services. Whereas, multi cloud is the one in which
companies use number of public cloud services with the main purpose of supporting different
developers. On the other hand, 7 employees said no as they do not have knowledge regarding

different version of cloud so, in this context, it can be suggested to Amazon that it should
provide training to its employees and need to make them aware about cloud computing.
Theme 4: What are some main challenges, associated with cloud computing?

Interpretation: On the basis of above discussion, it can be said that there are number of
characteristics that are associated with cloud computing. Along with characteristics, there are
some limitations and disadvantages that are associated with cloud computing. In regard to
challenges, 30 employees of amazon were asked as which challenges their company face the
most. In this context, 7 employees said that password security is one of the main challenge as it
hackers know some ways to hack system and it increases privacy risks. 10 employees stated that
compliance issues or complying with number of legal requirements and acts is one of the main
challenge as it increases their cost. 8 employees said that cost management is the main challenge
that is associated with cloud computing as implementation as well as using cloud computing is
not an easy and cheap way. 5 employees stated that lack of awareness and knowledge among

people regarding this is main challenge that becomes the main cause of other associated
problems. Overall, it can be said that there are number of cloud computing challenges.

Interpretation: From above graph, it can be said that there are different ways by which
companies can solve challenges that they face while managing and using cloud computing
system. 30 employees of Amazon were asked about strategies that their company use. In this
context, 11 employees stated that compliance forward planning is one of the main strategy as
many cloud infrastructures decision with compliance based with compliance front of mind and it
ensures that responsibility for data security is not neglected. 10 employees stated that their
company provide training to employees in order to aware them regarding cloud computing. It
makes stakeholders able in understanding relevant legislations that they need to comply and by
doing so they can protect themselves against compliance issues.
