Introduction
I attended a 12 week learning course before preparing my assignment 1 and assignment 2
associated with my business research. The 12 week learning course fulfilled its intention to help
me in writing literature review and research proposal on the topic of the importance of cloud
computing in business. It was a great experience of my life to attend in this learning program. It
explored my hidden capabilities both in regards to my personal life as well as career life. In this
reflective journal, I will explain my important learning experience that I gathered throughout the
12 week learning program.
Week 1
In my learning course, during first week, I read about the strategies natures and processes
associated with different kinds of business researches. In this week, I came to know about the
common principle used in every business research. Such common and general research principle
can be applied in any kind of business resources. I identified the major differences between
business resources and academic resources. From my opinion, such learning experience would
explore my capabilities to conduct every kind of business researchers in my future academic
career. In this way, the learning experience provided me huge learning opportunity and
unparalleled learning experience in my academic life.
Week 2
In 2nd week, the professor of my learning program taught me about different kinds of
research designs and planning associated with business researchers. Hence, I understood that the
method of research is completely different from the design of business researches. This week

learning was also associated with understanding the concept of case study, cross-sectional,
longitudinal, experimental and comparative research significant for the successful completion of
research studies. This learning experience was quite innovative and provided me extensive
guidelines for completing my final research.
Week 3
In 3rd week, I became aware of reviewing business research and different patterns of
writing business resources. I identified the main things associated with conducting business
research. Moreover, I realized that identifying the main ideas behind the research topic makes the
base of completing the whole business research. In this week, I also read about the significance
of social norms for successful completion of research studies. Such understanding of social
norms would definitely help me to maintain my social values in my personal life.
Week 4
My 4th week learning program was about learning the significance of research ethics
towards completing the research in a flawless manner. In this week, I came to know about
several types of ethical codes and guidelines regarding different professional associations. It was
quite helpful for me the complete the business researchers in effective manner. The deeper
understanding of ethical codes would actually assist me to choose only ethical activities both in
my academic life as well as in my professional life.

Week 5
In 5th week, I became aware of the details of qualitative research and read about the
qualitative research process in detailed manner. From this learning, I understood that the
researchers mostly prefer visual materials for conducting any kind of qualitative research.
Furthermore, such researchers also assess the behavioral patterns of the participants in the
research process. I studied several types of lecture slides collected from my professors to
understand the detailed of open ended questions to ask to the research participants for collecting
qualitative data.
Week 6
In this week, my professors taught me about the method of arranging interview session
for collecting qualitative research information. I found that qualitative research is much more
flexible than conducting focus group research. Furthermore, I faced huge difficulties towards
understanding the core matters associated with focus group research. I read lot of lecture slides
provided by my professors to understand the types of research methods. Apart from that, I also
watched several types of YouTube videos over the internet to understand the research methods.
Week 7
In 7th week, my learning course was associated with analysis of qualitative data that are
collected from the research participants in the research process. In this week, my lecturers
provided me detailed idea regarding the codified rules for governing the qualitative data in the
whole research process. In this week, I also got transparent idea regarding secondary data

analysis that is a significant part of qualitative data analysis. My business research provided me
hands on experience on both quantitative as well as qualitative data analysis.
Week 8
In 8thweek, I read about several natures and sampling procedures linked with quantitative
research studies. I learn that the measurement process related to quantitative research actually
denotes search for indicators in my business research. I had to select most appropriate sampling
technique and sample size for gathering the impact of cloud computing on business performance.
In this way, my business research allowed me to think in calculative and strategic manner.
Furthermore, my business research also made up my mind towards the direction of managerial
perspective.
Week 9
My 9th week Learning Course was linked with clarification of the significance of the
structured interview towards making the interview session highly standard. I learned the way of
asking standard interview question to the selected participants in the research process. I got
detailed idea about the designing of self completion questionnaires that was also significant part
of structured interview. I got proper learning about the business research only after completing
my assignment 1 and assignment 2. In this way, the completion of assignment 1 and assignment
2 contributed a lot in exploring my practical knowledge about conducting business research.
Week 10
My 10th week learning program was related to assessment of the alternative way of
structured observation method. I found that server based method can be an effective alternative

for structured observation method. Apart from that, I also learned the explicit rules towards
recording the reaction of research respondents during data collection process. The preparation of
assignment 1 and assignment 2 was a practical attempt to determine the experimental methods
and data interpretation associated with several research studies. In this way, the preparation of
assignment 1 and assignment 2 enhanced my insights and experience regarding the practical
study of business researches.
Week 11
In 11th week the professors of my learning program told me about the significance of
secondary data analysis for enhancing the quality ultimate research result. I realized that
secondary data analysis is linked with huge representative sample and high volume and high
quality of data set. However, I also understood that official statistics linked with secondary data
can lead to much more authentic research result reducing the errors in collected data. The
learning experience gathered from the learning program has enhanced my managing capabilities
in regards to business research as well as any professional career.
Week 12
In 12th week, I was ultimately provided with the learning regarding the importance of
mixed methods in conducting research. The knowledge about both qualitative as well as
quantitative research can facilitate me to conduct any kind of research study in my professional
life in future. Apart from that, I faced different types of difficulties and challenges throughout
conducting the business research. In this way, I learned the ways of dealing with challenges and
difficulties. Hence this learning program made me capable of dealing with difficult challenges in
my future life.

Conclusion
In conclusion of my reflective journal, I would say that the learning program of 12 week
was extremely helpful to me to develop my personal life as well as my career life. Throughout
the research study, I understood the significance of cloud computing in business. In this way, the
business research also explored my managerial skills, which can enhance the potential success of
my future career life. Furthermore, the learning of dealing with several difficulties and
challenges can make me highly capable of dealing with challenges and difficulties in my future
professional as well as personal life.
