Reflective Journal Scope
This report discusses the impact of cloud computing on the business performance. In
addition, it also discusses the challenges that may be faced by the organization at the time of
implementation of cloud computing. Along with this, it also demonstrates about the strategies
that will be effective to overcome the impact of cloud computing on the business
performance. This reflective journal has a wider scope because it helps to understand the
importance of cloud computing for the performance of the business.
Critically and depth of learning reflections reflective analysis
1. Evaluate the effectiveness and your usefulness of the learning experience
I gained my understanding about the impact ofcloud computing on the business
performance. Furthermore, I observed that cloud computing can influence both individuals as
well as the organization. I learned about three kinds of services that were provided by cloud
computing to the individual like SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. I understood that cloud computing can
support to an organization for improving their relationship among the diverse department of
the firm so as to improving the accessibility of information. In addition, I also created my
consciousness about major benefits of cloud computing in the business operation that is
related to the security of data. Further, I also learned that an organization is not responsible
to secure the confidential data in the cloud computing because dealers of the cloud are
responsible to keep the data safe.
2. Explain how this learning process will be useful to you
I will implement my understanding and perception to make new research in the upcoming
period. I observed about the motivation of this research. I analyzed that most of the authors
have research on the impact of mobile computing on the IT organizations and industry but
there is lack of research about the impact of cloud computing on business performance. I
created my depth understanding about the potential gaps of research that facilitated me to

enhance my career in the research field for the upcoming period. In addition to this, I also
understood that the cloud computing can be essential to keep the flow of information in the
business operation systematically. Along with this, it can also be evaluated that cloud
computing can play a major role to precise the flow of information which enabled the
organization to simply access that data (Gangwar, et al., 2015). In oppose to this, I gained my
knowledge about the project objective as well as project scope in a systematic way. In
addition to this, I created my awareness about the research question and hypothesis of
research that can be crucial for the research. Moreover, I also analyzed that knowledge about
the development of hypothesis can be imperative for improving my research skills (Oliveira,
et al., 2014).In addition, it can be evaluated that the creation of research question can be
appropriate to obtain the favorable and reliable result regarding research issue.
3. Describe objectively what happened in the learning process
Beside this, I gained my knowledge about primary and secondary research questions that
were considered in the research question. Along with this, I created my understanding about
the research methodology and research design which will be imperative to determine the
tools and techniques of research issues. At the same time, I also gained my awareness about
the inductive approach that will ensure the researcher to develop the conceptual
understanding systematically. Furthermore, it can be evaluated that the deductive approach is
used prove and reject the research hypothesis (Gangwar, et al., 2015).In addition, I also
increased my knowledge about two kinds of methods such as quantitative and qualitative
research method. Furthermore, a quantitative research method can help to evaluate the data
by using the scientific method, economic information, and statistics data. I also learned that
quantitative research his generally implemente to explain the numeric data that is determined
through mathematical tools.

Moreover, I increased my awareness about different methods that were included in
quantitative research named surveys, observation, and experiments. Further, I observed that
the quantitative research can be important to collect data from larger groups of individual. In
oppose to this, I also learned that qualitative approach is used to measure the data related to
observations, opinions, and description of people. The qualitative research is also used to
create theoretical understanding about the research topic.
5. Explain your learning process
I performed different acts in task 1 and task2. These activities are related to the research
question development, research hypothesis and question, and research methodology. I
observed some methods that were included in research like data collection, data analysis, the
implication of theoretical aspects, outcomes of the data analysis. Along with this, I improved
my research skills by created depth understanding about these methods. I analyzed that
validity and reliability can be crucial for any kinds of research. I learned that qualitative
research is based on theoretical data so it cannot be beneficial to obtain there liable result in
less time. Additionally, I increased my understanding of the sampling method and sample
size which help to determine the appropriate sample size and tools to complete the research
objectives. Further, I observed that interview data collection method can be important to
collect the information in qualitative research.
6. Explain Plan how this learning you will apply
This learning could be executed in the upcoming period. Since, it has created my
knowledge about quantitative research. Along with this, I also created my knowledge about
the survey through a questionnaire that will support to obtain the opinion and view of
participants towards research issue. I learned about data analysis method, which is used to
evaluate the collected data systematically. I increased my knowledge towards the variable
specification. Beside this, I learned about research limitation that will be required to

accomplish the research task in long-run. I observed that Time, cost and lack of resources can
direct impact on the performance of research. In addition to this, I created my knowledge
regarding research plan. The research plan will be necessary to determine the time to
complete research activity. From research plan, I learned about different research activities
that will be considered in the research named research objectives determination, research
methods, data collection, data analysis, conclusion, and findings of limitations. Further, I
observed about these research activities time. It will help to improve my time management
skills for performing any research activity in long-run.
From the above discussion, it can be concluded that cloud computing influence the
productivity as well as financial performance of the organization. It can also be summarized
that qualitative and quantitative plays an imperative role to conduct the research
systematically.
