Introduction and Reflective Journal Scope
This report assesses both advantages and disadvantages of using cloud computing in the
business. It also evaluates the different example of a company, which use cloud computing in
their business. This reflective journal has a broader scope as it helps to gain the awareness about
the existing gap under the literature and provide justification to use the cloud computing in the
business.

1. Evaluate the effectiveness and your usefulness of the learning experience
This reflective report is effective for me to gain my knowledge about the favorable and
unfavorable side of cloud computing in the business. I have learned that the application of cloud
computing technology makes competent to the corporation for generating a ubiquitous
atmosphere in their organization about their information and services. From the assignment 2, I
have developed my awareness about pros of cloud computing. In this way, it is evaluated that by
using the cloud computing technology, a company is not required to store the information on
their local servers or computers (Avram, 2014). I have gained my comprehension that cloud
computing technology is used by third-party suppliers. These suppliers charge their client as per
the stores used by them. This learning experience was useful for me to gain my technical skills.
2. Explain how this learning process will be useful to you
During the learning procedure, I have analyzed that cloud computing facilitates a corporation to
deal with the issues to offer superior quality of customer services. From the assignment 2, it is
observed that Netflix uses cloud computing to deliver service and users can access its content to
any system like Smartphone, television, tablet, computer, and laptop (Beloglazov, Abawajy, and
Buyya, 2012). I will use this learning process to implement cloud computing for pooling and

assessing the information of its users in the company. This learning process would be also useful
for me to use prominent information of users and provides a recommendation to its customers.
I have also gained my understanding that the companies which use cloud computing technology
may face the concern of downtime of servers. It is observed that CSPs faces issue due to cloud
computing technology and it cannot be ignored by them (Avram, 2014). I have also developed
my awareness that cloud computing can gain the possibilities of unauthorized data access. It is
also pointed that anyone around the globe can access the information of company by using the
cloud computing if they have identification of user and password (Gutierrez, Boukrami, and
Lumsden, 2015). It is beneficial for me to use the cloud computing technology in the future. I
have also boosted my experience that cloud computing technology makes competent to the
company to decline its operating expenses. It is also observed that all process of handling the
servers is attained by CSPs (Gomez, and Hunt, 2016). I have also developed my knowledge that
the procedure of setting up the cloud computing infrastructure is relatively comprehensive. It is
also pointed that company can adjust their setting of individuals, select a password, and select
access to particular systems and other functions in relatively minimum duration (Gutierrez,
Boukrami, and Lumsden, 2015). This learning process would be effective for me use the cloud
computing technology in the upcoming period.
I have also developed my awareness that the files which are locally stored by the company could
be burned in the case of fire in the building. But, at the same time, I have found that files are
stored in cloud computing could be protected against disaster. This learning experience was
beneficial for me to recover the data after the disaster. I will also use my knowledge to create
new business opportunities for the corporation as the application of cloud computing has
increased amid general public.

3. Describe objectively what happened in the learning process
I have read several articles and textbooks associated with advantages and disadvantageous of
using cloud computing in the business. I have learned that corporation can store the information
by implementing cloud computing. It would be beneficial for me to access the data at any time
and anywhere. It is observed that reliability of information is another key benefit that influences
modern companies with regards to applying cloud computing technology into the business
structure (Gutierrez, Boukrami, and Lumsden, 2015). This learning would be used by me to
apply cloud computing technology in the business. I have also observed that company has more
storage alternatives in cloud computing as compared to storing information on local drives.
4. Evaluate what you learn
The business research was beneficial for me to improve my research skills because it has
developed my experience regarding the different process for research completion. I have built
my awareness about the designing and methodology of research. I have learned that one of key
limitation of cloud computing is the threat of data breaches and cyber attack. It is also observed
that cloud computing technology enables the business to access the data through an internet
connection by applying password and identification of the user (Gomez, and Hunt, 2016). I have
also gained my experience that cybercriminal leaks the sensitive information of company in
public due to which company can suffer the substantial losses. This learning experience was
beneficial for me to cautiously implement the cloud computing technology.
5. Explain your learning process
The main cause of using research activities within research procedure is to attain the objectives
and aim of investigation within a specified time frame. I have also pointed that mixed research
design will be applied for accomplishing the investigation. I have learned that mixed research

design contains the feature of both quantitative and qualitative investigation design. As a result,
this research enables me to acquire the consistent results in a feasible way.
From the assignment 3, I have developed my knowledge about data gathering procedure. In such
way, I have increased my comprehension that both secondary and primary data gathering
technique could be practiced for pooling the facts and figures regarding research issue. I have
also pointed that primary data could be gathered from several sources such as survey through
questionnaire and interview. It is also assessed that secondary information would be collected
from online websites, textbooks, and academic publication and journal articles (Stergiou, et. al.,
2018).
This comprehension was useful for me to implement the data gathering tool in the business
process. This business research was also significant for me to increase the depth knowledge
about ethical consideration. As a result, I am competent to complete the aim and objectives in an
ethical way. In addition, it is also determined that a researcher should keep the confidentiality of
respondents for obtaining the survey in an ethical way (Tiwari and Mishra, 2012). By using the
research, I have built my awareness regarding limitation of the investigation. As a result, this
learning experience was significant to enhance my personal as well as professional career.
6. Explain Plan how this learning you will apply
This research has developed my knowledge about research schedule. In such manner, I have built
my comprehension about research plan. It is also evaluated that research plan facilitates the
structure to complete the goal and objectives of research (Zissis and Lekkas, 2012). As a result,
this research would be significant to attain each activity in a specified duration. This learning
experience would be beneficial for becoming a good technical manager in the future.
