INTRODUCTION
In era of digital transformation cloud computing has become a useful technology for
companies. It has transformed the way of storing and processing large set of data and
information. Cloud computing is a process through which computing services are provided over
the internet (Nabeel, Abdullah Al. and Sufian 2017). There are basically three types of cloud
that are hybrid, public and private. The evolution of cloud has benefited companies in effective
utilisation of resources. They are able to create a network in wide area by connecting it with
users. In cloud computing real time results are obtained by processing data. This research paper
is based on cloud computing and how it is helping companies in storing and processing of data.
LITERATURE REVIEW
In view of Samir and et.al., 2017, cloud computing is most emerging technique in today’s
era. it is providing platform for companies to store data in multiple database. The internet is used
to provide services by sharing resources. thus, large number of customers can avail or access
services in quick time. However, there is change in way of data coding. A business requires
accurate and precise data to develop product and services. For this they have to store and gather
data from large number of customers. So, it becomes difficult to store and process such data to
produce relevant information.
As said by Hashem and et.al., 2015, with evolution of big data it is difficult for
companies to manage and store their data. The use of big data in cloud computing is making it
easy for business to process and store it. Now, enterprise is easily able to access customer data
and segregate it. Cloud computing refers to on-demand computer resources and systems
available across the network that can provide a number of integrated computing services without
local resources to facilitate user access. These resources include data storage capacity, backup
and self-synchronization. There is a strong relationship between big data and cloud computing. A
cloud is a database and big data refers to information which is stored within in it. Companies are
using different types of techniques to process data. It has enabled in fastening of service
providing. Furthermore, in each database similar type of data is been stored. this has eased
process of interpreting data. Generally, there are three forms of data that are structured,
unstructured and semi structured. Cloud-based big data analytics technology finds a place in
future networks owing to processing of data. Cloud severs has also helpful in overcoming

challenge of business analytics. It has helped in generating business value. However, use of
cloud computing has created an open environment where only limited users are having access.
On contrary Botta and et.al., 2016, argued that open environment is resulting in several
security and privacy issues in storing of data. The servers where data is stored are open to
vulnerability. it is the reason why many organisations are facing issues related to data leakage.
thus, it has been difficult for them to protect their data. Beside this, use of cloud computing has
resulted in changing systems and increase in cost of updating IT infrastructure. the small
businesses is not able to install cloud computing to provide services.
According to Ali, Khan, and Vasilakos, 2015, usually three types of cloud computing
models that are SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. there are many other concepts in big data as well.
Businesses use data models to process data in cloud computing. It is highly used in
manufacturing and bioinformatics. Cloud servers are easily able to handle massive amount of
data simultaneously. Beside this, the overall process of providing services has become
automated. It has resulted in enhancing business efficiency and productivity. The cloud
computing model allows users to have a default data centre that can access data sets that were
not previously available by using a shared (API) for disparate data sets.

With respect to the above Li and et.al., 2018, critiqued about drawbacks of storing data
in cloud computing. The data is been hacked or steal easily. This has become a major challenge
for companies to protect their data. it is creating many problems in processing data. Another
issue which is faced by business in data processing is downtime. Since, cloud computing is
internet based service provider, outages in service occurs and delays in generating results. This is
impacting on overall business efficiency and quality of services. It is identified that data disaster
is an issue where large data is lost accidently. So, to recover data a disaster recovery plan is
developed. it contains policies and procedure to recover data.
Sen, 2015, said that through cloud computing the complexity of business process is
reduced. Now, data is easily transferred over internet. Consequently, data is stored for long time
and real time information is generated via data analytics. with this it is becoming easy for
companies to provide services according to customer needs. this is helping in retaining their
customers and finding out change in their taste and preference. also, the process of analysing
information is fastened and improved. cloud computing is useful in ensuring data consistency
and scalability. the issue of maintaining data management is solved. now, they are not required to

maintain several types of database. There is change in way through which services were
provided. it is allowing firm to opt for best cloud model to offer services.
In a study it is observed that firms are trying to make changes in their IT infrastructure.
They are using all three model of cloud services. it is benefiting them to gain competitive
advantage in the market. Additionally, in each sector services are provided online. the method
implement by them differs from each other. the feature of cloud system is information produced
by processing data is in form of table, graphs, etc. It is giving an insight to business about
customer needs. with help of it, new products and services are been developed.
METHODOLOGY
The present research paper is written by collecting data and information from secondary
sources. In this material are gathered by analysing articles, previous research papers, etc. from
database and internet. The information examined was related to use of cloud computing in
business (Etro, 2015). This helped in describing what study is all about and how it has impacted
on business process. The information is analysed through qualitative method. Also, secondary
data is gathered from different websites. It has enabled in briefly analysing data and then
collecting appropriate one. The validity is maintained by properly doing citation of references
taken.
DATA ANALYSIS
It can be stated that the integration of big data with cloud computing has enabled in
processing of data in effective way. It is analysed that Bott and et.al., 2016, data analytics is a
tool used in cloud computing through which information is collected and processed. then, it is
stored in cloud servers. through this, organisation is been able to maintain track records of
customers and other information. In addition to it, now data is stored in cloud servers are of big
size as compared to traditional one. the below table shows difference between data storing:-
Data Traditional Big data
Data type Structured Semi structured, unstructured
Data sources Centralised Multiple
Data store RDBMS HDFS

It is been evaluated by Hashem and et.al., 2015, that by providing shared resources in
cloud computing, it is easy for firms to offer services via applications. the processed data is
automatically been stored in severs. It has been effective for business to set up multiple centres
through which wide range of area is covered. There is allowed them to save time, money and
resources. However, there is high rise in third party companies who provides various types of
cloud computing services. it is boosting growth of cloud industry. Moreover, it is observed that
business efficiency is improved by using cloud computing. it has enabled setting multiple system
and applications. so, it has become easy for customer to access services. Also, data is stored in
segregated way in which each data set contains a specific value. So, this is useful in gathering
data and analysing information. the information is stored in structure format. it has enhanced
flexibility in decision making process.
It is found that companies are highly benefited by using cloud computing in processing of
data. the information is been accessed via internet from anywhere. it is providing bandwidth to
user in accessing services. the private cloud computing is been mostly used by organisations.
Alongside it, SaaS model is used in which overall services are monitored by third parties. In this
it is company juts have to pay fees for using of services of vendor.
Whereas it is analysed that Samir and et.al., 2017, use of cloud computing is leading to
rise in cyber crime and frauds. it has also enforced companies to update and change their overall
IT infrastructure. this is impacting on manual operations and quality of services. furthermore, to
maintain system skilled and qualified workforce is required. It has been observed that vendors
often get involved in data lost. they provide inaccurate information just to earn more profit.
Apart from this, sometimes security of data is not maintained. it is stored without any privacy
policy. Hence, there is no measure or backup provided. So, it creates a high risk for resulting is
data loss. This is restricting companies to rely on third parties. rather than offering services via
vendors, firms are establishing their own cloud servers and network.
By analysing information, it can be identified that there are advance applications and
software used for processing data in cloud computing. it has been useful in interpreting data and
producing accurate results. With help of it, they are able to set goals and objectives accordingly.
Moreover, there is transformation of procedure in which feedback is taken. Cloud computing has
provided other benefit as well such as storage, analysis techniques, etc. So, it is a complete
advance technology that has enabled companies in effective data storage. Consequently, it has

been analysed that performance of business has enhanced. they are serving a large area in terms
of providing services. Alongside this, it has become easy for customers to access information.
There are many companies emerged in offering cloud services. For example – Dropbox,
Google drive, Cisco, etc. These all are having a strong network and provides services to people
as well as companies. the data has been stored on different platforms. it is used in storing large
data sets on single platform. the capacity of business has increased. they are able to store and
maintain large data. the benefits of cloud services have enforced business to move towards
future.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded cloud computing is emerging technology. The 4V’s that is volume,
velocity, variety and veracity with data management has improved capacity to store data.
Moreover, this research paper summarises that by sharing resources, services are been offered
and accessed by customers in efficient way. the information provided through cloud computing
is useful in decision making. Now, each company have separate cloud storage systems. the
storing and maintaining of data require less resources. there has been rise in third parties who
provides various types of services in different area. Companies have been able to quickly collect
data and generate real time outcomes.
