Problem Description
Dotcom is a well-known medium- sized organization that has their presence in multiple nations with a
strength of approx. 300 employees in all their offices. As per the requirement the Dotcom needs a proper
system to acquisition of data to effectively manage their workflow and data which is collected from
various branches.
Dotcom’s main requirement is to manage the all the data using an effective database server to store and
manage all the data stored with in it. With respect to the data management it is required to maintain
proper log of all the activities performed in the data base server which includes data updation, data
insertion, and data deletion. An effective backup facility to backup database data and a server to host their
application and other resources. In present all these all managed into their physical network infrastructure.
As the Dotcom is growing their stakes at very impressive rate it is very hard to maintain the security and
proper data management in their current network infrastructure. Due to this it is suggested to transfer all
their data and resources to the cloud to gain high security and effective data management.
Proposed Solution:
After analyzing the complete scenario and problem that is faced by the Dotcom in present day. It is
suggested to transfer all their resources to the cloud platform. As the cloud platform provides all the
features that the Dotcom required to implement in their current process of workflow. A cloud platform
provides the following features:

Cloud completing is evolved in the late 1980’s with the foundation driven by grid completing. This grid
computing infrastructure provided an effective solution to manage and handle large data problem by
implementing the parallel structure with computers. Later-on in 1990’s the foundation for cloud
computing is groomed by the utility computing infrastructure. This infrastructure had provided the
concept of metered services to store and manage the data and resources stored int eh particular
infrastructure. In the year 2000 the concept of software as a service launched that provided the
functionality of option of subscriptions to use any software. These subscriptions are based on the
hardware and software requirements with respect to the ideal time to use the subscribed software. This
has increased the virtualization in using an application with a subscription. In year 2010 the concept of
cloud computing is evolved through taking all the features and services of al the infrastructure founded in
the past decades. This infrastructure provides the effective and robust infrastructure for the data storage
and data centers (Stoeckert, 2019).
Concept of Cloud Computing
Cloud computing’s concept consist of following:
1. IaaS:
IaaS refers to the Infrastructure as a service is a concept of cloud computing that provides a
virtualized environment that provides the access to the various computer resources. In this
concept the cloud infrastructure provides the establishment of cloud platform using the
traditionally implemented network resources such as servers, system and more (Rouse, 2019).

Architecture Design
As per the Dotcom’s scenario the cloud computing architecture framework need to be based over the
following consideration and requirements. These considerations are required to be fulfilled in order to
design an effective framework for any organization. These considerations consist of all the basic
requirements of the of the network and data storage unit and accessibility to the resources hosted and
stored in the cloud. The consideration followed in order to design and effective and efficient cloud
computing architecture are:
1. Cost:
This is one of the most important factors that need to be considered while designing an effective
and efficient cloud computing architecture design. The cost of cloud architecture depends upon
various aspects such as storage capacity, processor and more.
2. Speed:
This factor is required to be considered as important as of other considerations. This factor is
considered over the requirement of latency required and to maintain the exchange and access to
the data stored.
3. Security:
This factor is considered as the most important factor that need to be considered as to secure the
data stored in the cloud from the attackers and external as well as from internal threats such as
virus, malware and more.
4. Portability:
Cloud platform provide the various options to easily expand the storage capacity of the cloud as
per the requirements. This fact is considered more important as Dotcom’s company expansion is
increasing at very high rate.
After completely identifying all the factors of consideration it was concluded that the single all in one
cloud architecture framework will be the most suitable cloud framework for the Dotcom. This
architecture consists of all the necessary requirements such as speed, portability, scalability, application
and database server and more. This is considered as this architecture is cost effective to implement and
will be the most efficient cloud architecture to share the resources to the users of service provided by the
Dotcom to their customers and their employees.

Deployment model
In cloud computing there are various different cloud deployment models are providing that can be
chosen over the need of the organization and their workflow. These cloud computing deployment
models provides various services related to the accessibility to the cloud resources through public or
private.
1. Public Cloud:
This is the cloud deployment model provides the accessibility of cloud data from public. These
models are deployed over the third-party server. These are the models that can be scaled over
the client’s requirement by paying the rational subscription to the services. These cloud
deployment model provides cloud services over the internet without providing any hardware
support to the user.
Figure 8: Public cloud deployment model
2. Private Cloud:
This deployment model of cloud computing provides the access of cloud resources privately to
only the authorized user of an organization. These types of cloud platforms are suitable to
manage the workflow and internal resources of an organization. These deployment model
provides high security, high privacy and high reliability to the resources of the data and
resources stored in the cloud.
