Examining Cloud Computing Adoption: A Comprehensive Literature Review

This literature review examines the implementation of cloud computing in organizations, drawing on two key articles. The first article focuses on cloud adoption in Taiwanese farms, concluding that private clouds are suitable for higher-level business data storage and that business type influences cloud strategy. The second article discusses factors determining cloud implementation in manufacturing and service industries, highlighting the technical benefits of cloud adoption based on a survey of a Portugal-based manufacturing company. Both articles agree on the strategic adaptation of cloud architecture and its benefits, with one emphasizing cost-effectiveness and the other focusing on technical advantages. The review concludes that cloud computing can enhance efficiency and data security in a cost-effective manner.

The article is about adopting the cloud mechanism in the organizational level. The article
deals with the amount of information of the way the cloud architecture can be adopted at the
initial level in the organization. In order to analysis the impact, in this article, a survey on 200
Taiwanese farms has done. On the basis of that survey, two conclusions are made by this article-
in the higher level of the business organization, adopting for the private cloud to store the
necessary data is suitable and the type of business determines the strategy to adopt the level of
the cloud.

This article has discussed about the factors that works as a determinants for the
implementation of the cloud architecture in the business model. Though, like the previous article,
it has not been discussed about the implementation process of the cloud in the organization and
the effectiveness of its different layers, it has discussed about the impacts of the adopting cloud
architecture in the organization, especially in manufacturing and service industry. Various
articles can be found on the implementation of cloud in the IT industry but, the adoption of the
cloud in the non-IT farms has not been discussed broadly. Like the other article in the
discussion. This article also took a survey on a Portugal based manufacturing company. In this
article the benefits of implementing cloud has been discussed on the technical perspective.

Relation between two articles:
In both the cases the articles has discussed about the strategic adaptation of the cloud
architecture in the organization. In case of discussing the benefits, the discussion of the both
articles are same. However, the first articles talks about the cost effectiveness that can be
achieved by implementation of the cloud and in the second article the benefits has been
discussed on the technical perspective.
Relevant information:
The relevant information that can be drawn from these two articles are that the cloud
computing can be beneficial for increasing the efficiency, data security in a cost effective way.
