INTRODUCTION
• Cloud computing refers to an information technology paradigm that enable a
convenient on demand access to a network for sharing a configurable
system resources as well as high level services that are offered with less
management effort usually through the internet.
• Cloud computing use a network of remote servers hosted in the internet for
storage, management and processing data instead of using personal
computers and local servers (Armbrust et al. 2010).

A BRIEF HISTORY OF CLOUD COMPUTING
The idea of cloud computing concept dates back to the year 1960. It was
the idea of J.C.R Licker.
The term “Cloud computing” was used by the first information system
professor Chellappa R in 1997. That was when companies started to switch
from hardware to cloud computing.

CLOUD COMPUTING DEPLOYMENT MODELS
• The purpose and nature of how the cloud is placed can be defined by cloud
deployment model (Armbrust et al. 2010). Four basic cloud deployment
model:
Public deployment model
Private deployment model

• Cloud computing have gained reputations in both business and technical
field of work.
• As such, more than 80 percent of the worldwide data is predicted to relocate

competitive edge to its competitors. It is therefore essential that MetaSoft
move to cloud computing for the organization to increase its productivity
since benefits of adopting cloud computing overshadows its implementation
cost.
