ABSTRACT:
Now a days mobile development and cloud computing concept both are more emerging
technologies and coming together is called as mobile cloud computing. Cloud computing provide
different platform for mobile users like data storage, processing service, bandwidth etc.When
new technology emerge along with it two major question is raising which are as follow what is
going to be affected by it? And how we are going to implement it?
INTRODUCTION:
Without mobile device you cannot imagine your day or life. It is essential part of human life.
Mobile device provide you easy way to communicate with others, user get rich experience of
various service from mobile application. User taken advantages of infrastructure from cloud
computing like server, storage and networks etc.
Once Cloud computing was introduced then after immediate time the term “mobile cloud
computing” was introduced. It attracts business person as a profitable occupation which
minimize development and running evaluation of mobile application.
What is mobile cloud computing?
It is very easy term to understand that any data storage and process which are not inside the
mobile device it is called as Mobile cloud computing. It provide infrastructure for that.
Architecture of Mobile Cloud computing:
Following figure suggest that mobile networks are connected to their base station and all mobile
are secured to the mobile network. The foundation which is known as base station provides
control the connection and functional interfaces between network and mobile device. There are
some responsibilities of the mobile operators and they have to provide different services to their
mobile users this service which is known as authentication, authorization, accounting and store
subscribers data in database.
The word cloud computing and its architecture could be different in different context. There may
be layered architecture or service architecture. Service oriented architecture support that
developer have to build by himself with support of application programming interface(API) and
multiple programming model. The commonly used architecture is layered architecture which is
full fill of user’s requirement.

Cloud computing is a very large scale distributed network system which based on
implementation of server in data center. There is a layer concept and cloud computing is
classified it. There are some services which are come in the upper layer of this paradigm and it is
called as Infrastructure as a Service(IaaS), Platform as a Service(PaaS) and Software as a
Service(SaaS).
Advantages of Mobile Cloud Computing:
There are many reasons for cloud computing to providing proper solution to mobile cloud. It will
help to mobile developer to developer robust application and remove obstacles to overcome
development time. Some of the advantages which I pointing here for Mobile cloud computing.
1. Increasing battery lifetime: Battery one of the essential problem on mobile device. To
reducing power consumption there are so many solutions which have been depicted that
some of like improve the cpu execution, it would help to managing disk very intelligent
manner. To extending battery life it may change the structure of the mobile device,
require a new hardware so to doing this it may increase the cost of the mobile device and
may not be feasible to all device doing this. You may avoid some application which is
taking long time to execution it may result to reduce your battery so you simple avoid this
application to install on your device.

2. Storace capacity imroving using cloud computing and also imroving processing power:
One of the important constraint for mobile device is storage. So to overcome this
situation Mobile cloud computing was introduced and store all your data on the server
which refer as a cloud sometime. It is happen through the wireless netwroks.To running
an intensive application mobile cloud computing would be help to reduce and running
cost for copute and it would be help to limited resource device.
3. Improving reliability: If your application based on cloud data then you will say that your
data is reliable and secure. Because cloud provide your data return through different
platform and you can see your data anywhere. You can get back up your data anytime for
any machine. One of the major reasons to implement cloud in mobile is the security of
your data. No one can access your data in cloud without your credential so it is the most
reliable part in term of security. There is also less chance to your data would be
vulnerable so of the cloud service provide checking virus regularly.
There are some challenges to implement of cloud computing in Mobile Applciation:
1. Interoperability: I would say it is major challenge to organization to pulling and pushing
data across multiple devices. There are some organization that faced BYOD (Bring-your-
own-mobile) terms who occasionally face this situation of iteroprablility.Now a day’s
people are using multiple devices like android, Ios, blackberry etc with sharing network.
2. Cloud Application Flexibility: There are the certain thing in applciation which is which
is supported to mobile with cloud infrastructure or not, cloud infrastructure characteristic
is easy to judge with different parameters such as metwork bandwidth and latency vector.
3. Mobile Cloud Convergence: You want some benefit or advantage from mobility using
implementation of cloud computing so I would say key feature is data distribution issue.
We know there are some limitation of mobile device such as computing power and it is
not achieve their goal to be the main computing platform. To achieving pervasive and
ubiquitous computing we need to use wireless technologies, advanced electronics which
is connected with internet and integrated in it.
4. Information Security: The basic task of the cloud computing is store data on server it
should be secure. It is most challenging task to securely store data and data would not be
miss and vulnerable. There are different ways to security measures and more cloud

platform offers this thing. For enable external security you need to provide some
certification like SSL and digital certificate.
5. Privacy and Confidentiality: There are different privacy and confidentiality policy approach
by different cloud platform. The most challenging part for organization is that to collecting
the data or information to maintain privacy for these data you need to implement some
policies and procedure for handling these thing. For securing the data or information you
must have to implement the privacy policy to achieve this behaviour.
OPEN ISSUES AND FUTURE RESEARCH DIRECTIONS:
We have discussed so far about what cloud computing provide in mobile application. What are
the new feature, Pros and cons of Cloud computing. There are still some open issues which are
working on it and may be used in future. Some of the features you will be see in the future which
are as follow.
Work on low bandwidth – There are so many mobile users in the market and major challenge is
that efficient way to providing bandwidth allocation. 4G network. To increasing bandwidth
capacity for subscribers it would help to using forth generation network technology. Compact
cellular base places is designed for compact area which is call femtocell.
Network Access management - To improving performance and optimization in bandwidth usage
you need to implement an efficient network access. There is cognitive radio as a slotution to
implementing in mobile communication through wireless access management. So, to detect radio
resource availability mobile users must be in MCC to ensure that the conventional utility will not
be obstructed.

and Cloud Computing coming together is advantage for both so it would providing optimal
service for mobile users. According to Recent researches, by the end of 2013 there will be more
than 10 thousand mobile applications that will be executed through cloud computing. Finally we
have discussed about the challenges of implementing cloud computing in mobile applications
and their possible solutions.
