service models.
• This technology is used for storing and accessing the information or data which is
processed on the Internet.
• With the help of cloud computing technology, the VideoDev will be implemented
easily.
• The services of cloud will be available when demand occurs by the users.
• Resources can be shared on cloud environment that’s why it reduces the cost of
deployment.

CLOUD COMPUTING CONCEPTS
• It is the type of technology used for data processing in distributed form
where some information is provided via Internet technology.
• The main technology is virtualization for the cloud computing.
• Data or the information will be accessed online via Internet technology.
• For accessing the information, the internet connectivity and its speed is
required.

TYPES OF CLOUD COMPUTING
• SaaS (Software-as-a-Service)
• PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service)
• IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service)

SAAS (SOFTWARE-AS-A-SERVICE)
• It is the software used for distributing the
software models where the other
providers will host the applications and
also enable the availability to the
customers via internet.
• Examples: Google Apps, BigCommerce,
Salesforce, Slack, Dropbox, and many
more.

PAAS (PLATFORM-AS-A-SERVICE)
• It is the type of service model where it
is used to deliver the software and
hardware tools with the help of third-
party providers.
• In this service model, the third-party
providers will host the software and
hardware in their own infrastructure.
• Examples: Windows Azure, Apache
Stratos, Heroku, and many more.

IAAS (INFRASTRUCTURE-AS-A-SERVICE)
• It is the service model which
delivers the infrastructure of
computer based on outsource for
supporting the enterprise
operations.
• Examples: Rackspace,
DigitalOcean, AWS Services, Cisco
Metapod, and many more.

CLOUD COMPUTING BASED ON DEPLOYMENT
Based on the deployment mode, cloud
computing is of four types:
• Private Cloud
• Community Cloud
• Public Cloud
• Hybrid Cloud

PRIVATE CLOUD
• It is the type of computing model
which offers private environment to
the single entity of business.
• It is the pool of the virtual resources
which is sourced from the system
that is managed and dedicated to
peoples.

COMMUNITY CLOUD
• It is the collaborative effort where
the infrastructure shared between
various organization from specific
community.
• It includes the common concerns
which is managed or hosted
externally or internally.

PUBLIC CLOUD
• It is the computing service which is
offered by the external providers
on the Internet.
• It provides the free service to
public where user have to pay with
the usage or their requirements.

HYBRID CLOUD
• It is the computing model which is the
mixture of private cloud and the public
cloud.
• It provides the facility to combine the
data of their own centres and also able
to setup with the cloud resources (e.g.
SaaS).
