Proposed Title:
The Impact of the Cloud Computing Technology on the Development of the Business Organization.
Abstract
The past few decades have shown enormous development in the technology. Evolution of the
technology have open new ways in which the business can be benefited with the usage of the
technology. With the introduction of the internet technology, the business has developed in the global
context. Cloud Computing is one of the most important technology in this case. It is one such
technology which has helped in the development of the business in a global aspect. Over the past five
years the public services related to the technology has leaped from $9 billion to $40 billion and the
amount keeps on rising. There are numerous features of the cloud computing technologies that can be
put to use for the development of the business sectors. Few of them includes the on demand self-
services, broader access of the network, resource pooling, measured services, rapid elasticity and many
more. The cloud computing services have enabled infinite storage for the system as well as the
organization which has solved the problem of storage which was one of the major issues in the
organizations at present. With the introduction of the information technology in the business, the
amount of the data input in the systems has increased as well. This has resulted in the excessive amount
of data in the system. Manual management of the data is very difficult in this case. The traditional
databases which is currently in use is not enough for the contemporary flow of data. Thus for the error
free management of the data, the cloud computing services are required. The following research we will
discuss about certain deployment methods of the cloud computing technology which are in use in the
present and helps in the development of the business in the different sectors of the organization.
Outline of the Proposed Research
With the technological development at its peak and the introduction of the information system,
the flow of the data has increased in the organizations and the business as well. Managing these data
manually using the database management system and the storage of the data was indeed difficult. The
research discusses about the reasons for emergence of the cloud based technologies which has become
the basic necessity of the businesses at the present. One of the most important reason being the rapid
growth of the technologies which has led to the development of the cloud computing n the very first

place. With the involvement of the cloud based technologies in the business, the excess computing
capacities of the have being obtained [1].
The advantages of the cloud computing services cannot be ignored as well. The main advantage
being the flexibility of the technology. There are numerous ways in which the cloud technologies can
meet the demands of the business. The cost of the installation of the cloud technology is very less. They
follow the pay as you go method of payment. There is not requirement for the upfront cost of the
system’s infrastructure. The cloud services helps in increasing the collaboration of the employees with
the technology [2]. The employees can synchronize their work with the cloud computing services. The
cloud based storage helps in the ease of the access in the system. The data and the information can be
accessed easily which is an excellent way in keeping track of the business from the remote locations.
The research also discusses about the limitations of the cloud computing which can be avoided
with the help of the proper maintenance. The primary focus of the research is to analyse the impact of
the cloud computing technologies on the development of the business. The usage of the cloud
computing technologies in the business sector is one of the very essential component now a days. Thus
with the help of the qualitative approach of the analysis of the data a study is conducted which depicts
with the usage of the information technologies equipped with the cloud services how the business are
developing in a rapid manner [3].
The role of the privacy and the security of the data on the cloud computing services helps in
determination of the fact that information that are stored in the system with the help of the cloud
computing services are secured and can be transferred securely to the other systems as well, which is
one of those feature which can be extremely beneficial for the data transfer in the business sector. This
research gives us a brief idea upon why this technology was developed and what are the major role
played by the cloud computing in enhancing the development of the business for an organization.
Process outsourcing is one of the major components of the business [4]. Thus the impact of the
technologies on this sector of the business can affect the business as well the customers in many ways.
This research is based upon the small to medium size business organization and impact the
implementation of the cloud computing technology can have upon such business organization and their
outsourcing is discussed briefly in the research work.
Background
Cloud computing is one of the emerging technologies which is one of the most discussed about
topic in the field of the research. The security enhanced system of the cloud computing technology is
one of the main features amongst all the others which are in use greatly. The cloud computing is often
considered as the vast provider for the on-demand access model for a huge amount of computational
sources. The researches which has been undertaken by the researchers previously has addressed
numerous benefits and the discredits of the cloud based technologies and its implementation in the field
of the business. However, there is a minor gap in the literature that has been observed while studying
the impact of the cloud based technology in the field of the business process outsourcing or the BPO
organizations. Since the advent of the year 2007, the organization’s interest towards the technology has
increased with leaps and bounds. As per the Scopus Database, numerous articles and journals were
published based on the advantages of the technology such that they can be implemented within the
system as soon as possible [5].
Some of the major advantages of the cloud computing is its ease of accessibility. With the help
of the Cloud computing, the usability and the accessibility of the same data to multiple people at the
same time has been possible. Real-time data can be viewed by multiple people at once. As per the
requirements placed by the client, the cloud creates a shared space for the profession service providers
and the client. The cloud computing helps in the process of resource pooling which is again of the
major features of the technology [6]. The Rapid elasticity of the cloud based technology is another

advantage of the cloud computing services over the others. The customer may add up features and
resources as per the demands and the cloud service provider can provide these by using simple steps.
The process of operations and implementation of the cloud based system is much simpler in
comparison to any other technology. The cloud computing technology has three different service
models, namely, Infrastructure as the services, Platform as services, and Software as services. As per
the need of the business or the organization, the services models can be chosen.
Purpose
The purpose of undertaking the research is to make the people aware of the cloud computing as a whole
which is one of the emerging technologies that can help in the development of the business sector. The
various deployment models, service models features and their usage in the business sector will be
studied in depth by performing this research along with analyzing the fact that how the business
development process is enhanced with the usage of the technology.
Rationale
The research is performed such that the people can develop awareness of the technology and its usage
in the small to medium business. It is one of the most cost effective solution which in use at the present.
Thus implementation of the technology in the business sector can help in the process of enhancement
of the business. The impact upon the business is studied such that the business enthusiasts around the
globe can make use of the technology in a better way.
Research Topic and central research question
This research is conducted such that the impact of the cloud based technologies in the business sector
can be analyzed. The features and the concepts of the cloud computing technologies, the different
technologies developed with the help of various components of the cloud computing which impacts the
entire business process will be discussed in the research.
Methodological Approach
For the purpose of this research we will consider the deductive approach out of the two main approach
of the research, that is the inductive and the deductive research approach. We will consider the
deductive research approach as it proceeds in an organized way, starting with defining the aim of the
research, research questions, scope, literature review and so on. The inductive approach is a much
lengthier approach where the new theories are generated. As we have little time for preparing for the
research we will consider the deductive approach and discard the inductive approach.
Research Design
For the purpose of the collection of the data, we will consider the secondary sources of data. The
literary evidences that has been gathered previously, the scholarly articles based on the topic of the
research and the other similar authorized sources of the information. We will avoid using the data
gathered from the bogs and other internet sources due to the authenticity of the information. That is
available.
Once the data has been gathered, we will run a qualitative analysis of the data with the help of the
information that has been gathered from the secondary sources of information. As we will try to
understand impact of the technology in this research we will not considered Quantitative analysis due
to the ac of responses upon the usage of this emerging technology.
Contribution

The purpose of the research is to cover the gap that is present in the current literature that is impact of
the technology in development of the business especially in the sector of process outsourcing.
