Digital age is a shift or the transformation from the industrial production to information
and computerisation and it can also be refer as the information age. It is a modern time when
most of the information is being digitised, as compare to that time, when computers were not
being used in high scale. How people interact with businesses and each other. This include the
different kind of skills that help an individual to become successful in their specific field. This
will describe the cloud computing and cloud storage. This file will further explain the different
types of the cloud with the suitability to current businesses. Lastly in this file difference between
privacy and security will be included and how to achieve cloud and company's cloud to be
private and secured.

Cloud computing is being refer to the delivery of the different services like computer
power, database, storage, application and other It resources with the help of the internet. Cloud
computing provide the access to the servers, storage, database and the broad set of the
application services on the internet (Stergiou and et.al., 2018). Some of the cloud services are
Amazon web services, own and maintains the hardware which is connected to the network,
require for the these application services. There are many benefits of the cloud computing such
as:
Deploy globally in minutes: Cloud help an individual to access their data and confidential
information from the multiple physical location around the world with in a click and minimum
time. It means it helps in providing a lower latency and better experience for the customers at
lowest cost.
Elasticity: with the help of the cloud, anyone can provision the number of the resources which is
actually needed, that can instantly increase or decrease the need of the businesses. This help to
reduce the cost and help in improving the ability to meet with the user's demand (Varghese and
Buyya, 2018).

Cost saving: Cloud helps the organisation by allowing trade capital expenses like data centres,
physical servers etc. for the different expenses and they only have to pay for IT on the basis of
the consumption.
Cloud computing take all the heavy lifting files and data away from the individual to

away in the cyberspace. Cloud computing services can provide the different kind of services
which include the different function which are:

Cloud storage is the cloud computing model, where the data and informations re being
stored on the internet with the help of the cloud computing, this provider help to manage and
operate the data storage as a services. It is being delivered on the demand, with just in time
capacity and cost and also help to eliminating the buying and managing the data storage
infrastructure. This helps the organisation and individuals by providing agility, global scale and
durability, with any time and anywhere data access. As he clod storage is been purchased from
the third party cloud vendor, who is owner and help to operate data storage capacity and then
deliver it on the internet. These vendors also manage capacity, security and durability that help to
make data and information accessible on the application around the world at any time.
There are many benefits of using the cloud storage, from the number of benefits, file
accessibility is notable. Files which are stored in the cloud storage can be accessed any time at
any place but individual need to have internet access. Another benefit is that cloud storage
provide the off sites (remote) backup to the organisation which help to reduce the cost, which
associated with the disaster recovery of the data. Another advantages like usability and
bandwidth.
There are different kind of the cloud computing that enable the deployment of the
employee function in the cloud that help to response to the events.

Private cloud – Private cloud is that cloud infrastructure which is being operated by the single
organisation and weather manage internally by the third party and hosted either internally or
externally. To operate the private cloud in the organisation, projects require engagement to the
virtualise the business environment and required the organisation to re-evaluate decision about

Public Cloud- this is called the public cloud because the services are rendered over a network

Community Cloud: This type of cloud refers an infrastructure that are being shared by
organisations as they share their data & data management concerns. For instance, This type of
cloud can exist to a Government of a single country. Community cloud have both options and
can be located off premises and on premises (Langmead, B. and Nellore, 2018).
2. The difference between security & privacy and the way of achieving company's cloud to be
secured and private
Privacy refers to the protecting the identity of the user from the third part and from the
unauthorized access that can harm the identity of the user by accessing their personal
information. On the other hand security refer to the personal freedom from the external forces. It
mean that being free from the potential threats and danger. There is not much difference between
the privacy and security. As security provide the protection to all kind of the information and
data in any form top maintain the availability, confidentiality and integrity. Whereas privacy
make sure that the personal information and corporate information as well are collected,
processed and protected (Zhang and et.al., 2018).
Therefore it is always being recommended that to safeguard all the data and information
with a strong password with having different combination on the different websites which
require a login. All the security measures try to address an maintain the at least one of the three
goals:

Difference between Security and Privacy

related to the personal information. And the main goal of the security is to confidentiality,
