understand the impact of using cloud systems in business environment. This research

Introduction
This proposal will classify the usability and effectiveness of using the cloud systems
in commercial establishment. The reliability of this proposal will be very much on the higher
side as the proposal will be considering two different data collection procedures (Zeng &
Koutny, 2019). The next unit of this chapter will be highlighting the background of the study
in a detailed manner.
Background of the study
The use of the cloud systems are increasing every year as huge of data can be
managed in a professional manner using the cloud systems. There are three different
categories of cloud systems in terms of the hardware, software and the infrastructure. The
cloud systems which are increasingly used in commercial establishments are IaaS, SaaS and
PaaS (Xing, Levitin & Xiang, 2019). All these three different categories of cloud systems are
increasingly used according to the necessity of the business. Both the raw data as well as the
structured data are stored and managed using the cloud systems. Different virtualization
forms can be managed using different categories of cloud systems. There are diverse types of
cloud systems which are used to scale the data of the business (Wu et al., 2019).
Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability are the prime characteristic feature of each of the
diverse types of cloud systems which are used in the business.
Research aims and objectives
 To compare and analyse the use the diverse categories of cloud systems.
 To summarize the advantages as well as the limitations of the different categories of
cloud systems.

 To identify the dissimilarities as well as the similarities of the diverse types of cloud

 To examine the cloud computing principles so that the organizational targets are not

Research Questions
 What are the problems created for an org using cloud systems?

Problem Statement
Security and privacy concerns are the prime limitations of using the cloud systems
which has to be mitigated in order to classify the effectiveness of cloud systems. Encryption
of the data is the other significant issue of using the cloud systems which has to be addressed
in a professional manner. The ensuing segment of this chapter will be identifying the impact
of using cloud systems.
Rationale of the study
The research will aim to identify the usability as well as the effectiveness of the cloud
systems as there are lots of using the cloud systems. The research hypothesis of the paper will
be identifying the research hypothesis of this proposal.
Research Hypothesis
H0: The cloud system issues have no impact on the data which are managed using the
cloud systems.
H1: The cloud systems issues can have a significant impact on the organizational
target of commercial establishment

Literature Review
As stated by Truong & Dustdar (2015), there are different benefits of using cloud
systems in terms of the reduced costs, scalability issues, business continuity and flexibility of
collaboration and getting the automatic updates about the management of the data which are
stored ion the cloud systems (Hwang & Yuan, 2019). This paper specified that sharing
capabilities of the cloud platforms are widely used by the commercial establishment where
data is considered as an asset (Hussein & Khalid, 2016). The paper also stated that
minimizing the cost of data management is one of the most significant contribution of using
the cloud systems. The significance of desktop as a service is highlighted by the investigator
of the paper in an organized manner. The deployment of different categories of cloud based
services is considered in this paper along with both the advantages and disadvantages. The
reliability of the app to app service o the cloud systems was also highlighted this paper. At
the same time, the investigator of the paper highlighted that both the data management of the
organization can be significant enhanced using cloud based services.
As mentioned by Serrano et al., (2016), there are different categories of challenges
related with the deployment of the cloud systems such as maintaining the privacy of the data
as there are lots of social engineering activities these days such as ransomware and Botnet
attacks. Alternation of data is the other significant challenge related with the deployment of
the cloud systems (Kang et al., 2016). This paper suggested that downpour and the vendor
lock-ins are the other threat regarding the deployment of the cloud based systems.
As illustrated by Sajid, Abbas, & Saleem (2016), there are different categories of
regulations which exists regarding the use of the clod systems such as the ISO/IEC 27018 and
ISO/IEC 27001 which are very much significant so that the security of the data which are
stowed in cloud systems is maintained (Kwak et al., 2015). Most of the privacy and security

issues of the cloud system can be addressed in a professional manner using these regulations.
The paper also specified that business organizations must be having server team who can
look after the complexities of the cloud systems and the data which are stored in the cloud
servers can have a significant impact on the growth of the organization.
According to Nguyen (2019), hybrid IT solutions are on the verge of getting
integrated with IT solutions. The paper specified that the usability and the effectiveness of the
cloud systems will be increased significantly after the integration of the IT solutions with the
cloud systems (Moghaddam et al., 2015). The paper have stated that most of the flexibility as
well as the scalability issue of the cloud systems can be addressed if the IT solutions are
integrated with the cloud systems. The investigator stated that service provider reliability is
the other most significant challenges concerning the deployment of cloud systems, this paper
also specified that the concept of data centralized must be effectively managed in an

particulars of the data collection and the data analysis procedure are mentioned.
Research Philosophy
Diverse types of research philosophy which are deployed in the research proposals
like realism positivism and pragmatism. Pragmatism is the type of philosophy where ideas
and philosophies of practical applications (Furuncu & Sogukpinar, 2015). Positivism is
another research philosophy which is very much useful to identify the factual knowledge
associated with the selected topic. Data gathering as well as the interpretation of the data are
the prime aspects of the positivism research philosophy. Realism philosophy is very much

beneficial to maintain a systematic attitude to the growth of information based on the data
collection procedure.
Selected philosophy: Realism philosophy has been considered in this research
proposal as the scientific approach will be maintained of research methodology is considered
in this proposal.
Research Approach
Diverse types of research approaches which are considered in the research proposal
like the inductive approach, deductive approach and abductive approach. Abductive research
approach identifies the strength and weakness of the research (Freet et al., 2015). Deductive
approach considers all the relevant theories associated with the selected topic. Inductive
research approach helps in analysing the data with the all the emerging theories.
Selected research approach: The research approach which was selected in this
research proposal is the inductive research approach. Quantitative research analysis will be
very much aligning with the research philosophy.
Research Design
Diverse types of research design that are used in proposals such like explanatory
research design and exploratory research design. Explanatory design is very much helpful to
understand the demand as well as the priorities of the selected topic (Celesti et al., 2016). The
operational definition of the topic can be understood from this research design. Exploratory
design is very much helpful to understand different aspects of the selected topic.
Selected research design: This research proposal has considered the exploratory
research design where the priorities of each aspects of the selected topic are selected.
Establishment of the priorities are the other significant criteria of this proposal.

Data Collection Process
Diverse types of data collection process are usually considered in the research
proposal such as secondary data collection procedures like government databases and Google
Scholar. Whereas primary data is collected from primary sources in terms of subjective
interview, survey, and group discussion (Ardagna, Ciavotta & Passacantando, 2015). The
consistency of the primary data is more than secondary data however, it can be said that
secondary data has to be analysed before being considered in the research proposal.
Selected procedure: Both primary data collection procedure and secondary data
collection procedure. Primary data will be collected from an experienced IT professional who
have in-depth knowledge about the advantages and the limitation of using the cloud systems
using personal interview as a platform. Whereas secondary data have been collected from
reliable articles, and each of the articles has been selected from Google Scholar.
Sampling Method
Diverse types of sampling method like probabilistic sampling method and non-
probabilistic sampling method. Probabilistic method is conducted on numerical value, at the
same time it can be said that non probabilistic method is measured on the collected data
which do not have any statistical value.
Selected sampling method: Primary data have considered the probabilistic sampling
method and the secondary data have considered the non-probabilistic sampling method.
Ethical Consideration
The ethical consideration of this proposal like the protection of the data which are
collected from the personal interview and also the data which are collected from scholarly
articles. Strict ethical guidelines were ensured throughout the data collection and the data

analysis procedure (Almorsy, Grundy & Müller, 2016). The IT expert from where the
primary data is selected was given enough time in order to answer each of the questions
without any sort of biasedness.
Limitations of the study
There were lots of limitations associated with this research proposal in terms of the
financial management of data. Resource management is a very important challenges of this
research proposal which have to be maintained in each phases of this proposal (Ab Rahman
et al., 2016). Managing the time of personal interview was also one of the most important
challenges of this proposal.
Chapter Summary
The consistency of this proposal has been maintained using two different categories of
procedures at the same time it can also be said that quantitative analysis and the qualitative
analysis was followed in order to maintain the consistency of this proposal.
