Report
AI Summary
This report delves into the implementation of a webpage database utilizing a cloud instance. It begins with an introduction to the topic, followed by a detailed examination of cloud instance implementation strategies, including Cloud CDN and Amazon EC2. The report then outlines the advantages and disadvantages of cloud instances, such as usability, accessibility, bandwidth, cost savings, and disaster recovery, while also addressing limitations like data security concerns and software dependencies. A significant portion of the report is dedicated to security recommendations, emphasizing the need for proactive measures to mitigate risks associated with cloud environments. The conclusion summarizes the key findings, highlighting the ease of webpage database deployment with cloud instances, while underscoring the critical importance of robust security configurations to prevent potential breaches. The report references several academic sources to support its claims.

Introduction
The report will research about the implementation of the cloud instance in the webpage
database. The cloud storage handles the static website that resides a single Cloud Storage bucket.
With the web database implementation in the Cloud Storage and get accessed directly from the
browser. The report has done the research on Cloud CDN which is powered by Google, and
Cloud CDN has a content delivery solution with low-latency for the businesses (Wang et al.,
2015). Google has globally accelerated content delivery. The main purpose of this report is to
provide information about the advantages and disadvantages of a cloud instance. Finally, the
paper will be concluded with a recommendation of security issues in the web database.
Implementation of a cloud instance
The implementation of Cloud CDN includes the load balancing setup for HTTP(S) that is
enabling, disabling and configuring the Cloud CDN. In the command line tool, ‘cloud’ is used
for the Google Cloud Platform Console UI. The user needs to install the cloud and use Google
Cloud Shell (Ali, Khan & Vasilakos, 2015). The pre-existing backend service has enabled Cloud
CDN. In the console, the page that contains Cloud CDN has to enter through the Google Cloud
Platform Console. The origin is selected along with the load balancer which can be used as an
origin for Cloud CDN. The content of the Cloud CDN has been cached at the edges of the
Google network. Another cloud implementation is the Amazon EC2 instance that deploys the
“Hello World” with the AWS CodeDeploy that is needed for Amazon EC2. The Amazon EC2
instance has some tag to the instance that specifies the tag key Name and tag value
CodeDeployDemo.

Advantage and Disadvantage of a cloud instance
Advantages of Cloud Instance:
Usability: The services of cloud storage are reviewed and drag and drop the files in the
local storage and cloud storage.
Accessibility: With the support of the internet connection the storage files get accessed
from anywhere.
Bandwidth: Individual emailing files could be avoided where the recipients receive a
web link through email.
Cost Savings: The annual cost that is operated is being reduced through businesses and
organizations with the use of cloud storage at 3 cents per gigabyte that could internally
store data.
Disaster Recovery: Every business is recommended to have a plan for an emergency
backup. Business can use a second copy that contains important files which are stored at
the remote location to access through the internet connection (Chang, Kuo &
Ramachandran, 2016).
The disadvantage of Cloud Instance:
Usability: With drag or drop the document get permanently move to the cloud storage
folder from the original folder.
Accessibility: In the absence of the internet connection there is no access to the data.
Bandwidth: There is a various organization that provides unlimited bandwidth with
additional charges when they look at the storage provider of the cloud.

Data Security: The data that are stored remotely is important then there arises a concern
for safety and privacy (Almorsy, Grundy & Müller, 2016). It becomes uneasy for
businesses to know the issues governing the data security and privacy.
Software: In order to manipulate the files in multiple devices locally, the devices need
services that need to be downloaded.
Security Recommendations
Companies have now shifted from legacy to IT platform where executives need to adapt
to change and manage with the hybrid architecture (Hussain et al., 2017). The security issue
could be fixed for most of the organization were public uses the cloud environment which are at
risk. It is recommended to power up the new deployment of the anxiety-filled process. The cloud
security event categorized and prioritized with the use of patented risk engine (Rebollo et al.,
2015). It becomes tricky for proper cloud configuration. The hardware of the server that has the
cloud providers has set up the cloud infrastructure security along with the organization. The
workload was practically being loaded for the built-in security and the third-party tools.
Conclusion
From the above report, it has been concluded that cloud instance has made the webpage
database easier without waiting for the IT. However, server deployment and cloud management
have become a security issue with a simple configuration error or the administrative mistake and
such error or mistake could be compromise by the organization for the security of the entire
cloud environment. The cloud is now loaded with sensitive data and it completely depends on the
organization how its instance is secure.
