Introduction
The report is prepared for the Wepau for the development of a payroll and account
management system and address the current problems faced by the organization. A cloud based
storage is needed to be used for the development of the information system such that the data can
be stored based on the increase and information can be accessed from remote location directly
for improvement of the service offered by the information system. For the preparation of the
report an analysis is made on the stakeholder needs and the business needs. The current situation
of the organization is evaluated for identification of the needs of the information system. The
scope of the project and the functional requirement of the payroll system is evaluated such that it
can be aligned with the requirement for providing maximum benefits to the organization.
Stakeholder Analysis
The stakeholder analysis is performed for identification of the stakeholder and managing
their needs with the help of the project. The following are the stakeholders identified for the
development of the payroll management system:
 Wepau Management
 Wepau IT
 Wepau Customers
 Vendor Staffs
The Wepau management finds its interest for the management of payroll information and get
all the necessary information from a single platform. It helps them to manage the clients and
generate payroll, taxes, government document and filings.

The Wepau IT finds their interest for managing the computer resources such as network,
servers, storage, servers and applications such that the information system deployed work
efficiently.
Wepau Customer finds their interest in getting on demand service from the information
system and able to access the pay history, paystub and other payroll related information from the
information system (Eskerod & Jepsen, 2016). They are also needed to add or delete entries in
the database of the information system for management of their orders and overcome different
difficulties with the current business process.
Vendor staffs are associated with the information system for uploading their invoice and
receipt of the items ordered. The payroll related information are inputted in the information
system such that it can be used by the client to get the history and information directly about the
purchases made, invoice and tax returns, etc.
Business Analysis Plan
In the human resource department the payroll management is an essential function and
the implementation of the payroll software can streamline the processes that are associated with
compensating accurate and quick actions. The payroll system is needed to include business
intelligence, HR functionality, recruitment features and offer a complete tool for getting the
payroll history and other government documents that are necessary for the business (McKenzie,
2015). The financial functions are managed by the payroll software and it is needed to be aligned
with the current business framework of Wepau for providing more complex comprehensive
features such as tax services, compliance management, and reporting and workforce
management. A requirement checklist is needed to be used for analysis of the software and the

information that is needed to be stored in the information system is needed to be identified such
that it can save time and cost for management of all the functionality needed by the organization
(Uhl & Gollenia, 2016). The development information system is needed to be assessable to the
clients such that the payment information can be accessed. The current needs for getting all the
necessary information in phone call can be eliminated with the implementation of the
information system.
Current State Analysis
Current the clients of Wepau are not able to access the payroll information for example
the payment history, paystubs, etc. and thus they face difficulty while managing their payment
information. For getting the information of the client the payroll specialist currently needs to
establish a phone call connection for getting the necessary information. The client also face
difficulty while managing addition and deletion of new entries in the payroll database causing
difficulties and increasing inconvenience for the client. Currently there has been a growth in the
organization and the company faces problem in management of the payroll (Tannen, Hamilton &
Schiffrin, 2015). The current storage space that is needed for the storage of the files and
information is needed to be analyzed and it may be needed to be increased and thus an
appropriate cloud based solution is needed to be adopted. The selection of the cloud platform is
important for providing efficient and reliable service to the users and allow them to access the
information directly from different geographical location.
Project Scope
The main scope of development 0f the payroll management system are given below:

 To maintain a personal record for all the employees and the client associated with the
business process of Wepau.
 To calculate the salary of all the employees and assigning grade to all the employees.
 To develop a front end for the information system and make it user friendly such that the
user does not find any difficulty while using the information system
 To create shared pool of computer resources and make it accessible on demand for
management of increased loads on the information system
 To release the product with minimal service and requirement such that feedback can be
gathered from the client for improving the usability of the information system.
 To allow the client to manage the dashboard and add or delete new entries in the database
of the payroll management system
 To eliminate the needs of phone calls for management of necessary information in the
information system.
Functional Requirements Specification
The payroll system is needed to be developed for eliminating the current problems that
are faced by the organization. The information system is needed to be developed for
automatically generation information and document for the respective department and make it
accessible to the management heads for increasing the efficiency (Milani, 2019).
Masters – the module would help administrator entering the designation and related
description for addition of department
Employee – This helps in addition of details for the employees for example personal
details and employee details

Search – It allows to search the details of the employees and information based on
department or designation.
Salary – It helps in calculating the salary with the addition of allowance and basic salary
and deductions that are dependent of PF, leaves and it also helps in generation of employee pay
slip.
Report – It helps in generation of administrative reports for example employee report,
salary report and attendance report.
The following are the performance requirement for the development of the payroll system:
 It is needed to be error free, faster and reliable
 A built in error checking function should be embedded and having correction facilities
 A large amount of data is needed to be handled comfortably by the information system.
Conclusion
It can be concluded from the above report that the development of the payroll
management system would provide different opportunity for Wepau for the improvement of the
current business process. A proper planning is needed to be made for implementation of an
organized methodology and identifying the key element that are essential for the development of
the information system. The limitation of the system is needed to be identified and the
stakeholders using the information system is needed to be analyzed for management of future
modification and implementation of large number of features in the payroll system. A cloud
computing model is needed to be selected for the development of the database and creating a
shared pool of resources that would be accessed by different users from different location. The

cloud service and challenges are analyzed for its implementation and deployment for rapidly
provisioned and releasing the minimal viable product.
