1. Need of the project
The main focus of the paper is on hosing a club soccer tournament in South Africa for
providing fun opportunity for the local soccer teams. The project mainly aims to involve the
entire soccer team for promoting sports for different types of health benefits. In addition to
this, this kind of sporting event helps in making the entire team physically fit. The entire
soccer team tournament will be organized within budget $40,000 in 50 days of time by
properly finding a good location, establishing tournament, attracting teams as well as hosting
the tournament effectively.

The project objectives are mainly listed below:

effectively.

Time: The project will face delay if the timeline which is prepared in the of the
project kick off phase of the project does not get tracked effectively and therefore the
completion date for the project can generally get extended.
Resource: Lack of knowledge and experience among the volunteers will create few
challenges due to which they will face a lot of challenges in managing the hosting of the
tournament.
Improper advertisement: If advertisement prior to the hosing of the tournament is
not done then only few people can be able to know about it.

5. Work breakdown structure
It is considered as a method that assists in organizing and finishing the work that is
associated with the project by successfully by breaking the activities down into smaller
chunks such that the work can be done simultaneously by taking help from the team members
(Siami-Irdemoosa, Dindarloo & Sharifzadeh, 2015). By determining the deliverable from the
below WBS, the project manager can be capable of estimating the cost as well as project time
which is required by the project in order to complete the project quite successfully.
Additionally, the WBS helps in simplifying communication outside the project team as the
team members can be able to understand each task effectively.

7. Gantt chart
It is a horizontal bar that visually assists in properly representing the project plan for
organizing a club soccer tournament. It helps in giving proper prioritization as well as
visualization in order to give proper overview about the entire project. It is found that the
problem of resource overload gets avoided due to the utilization of Gantt chart and
additionally, it assists in measuring the progress of the project by enabling the project
