PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Introduction
This report throws light on the managerial approach needed for the deployment of the
deployment of a web portal as a solution for establishing effective and efficient network of the
communication between the different branches being established by the Lizzie Leather Belt
Company. Branches are being established for allowing the organization to manage the
operational activities and distribute the load of the work. This report focuses on the Agile
Methodology that can be utilized for the accomplishment of the various activities for the
establishment of a feasible network between the branches within the expected schedule
(Hassanieh et al. 2017). A Gantt chart has been proposed in this report considering the activities
and time needed for the successful and efficient deployment of the project. Since the project has
many constraints those need to be accomplished within the expected schedule and budget, and
hence this is not an individual work. A team will be chosen for the delivery of this project and
difference between the teamwork and individual work has also been proposed in this report
emphasizing on how effective can be a teamwork within any project.
Project Management Approach
Agile methodology is being recommended for this project as, it is the methodology that
can be helpful in complying the goals and objectives of the organization with the output of the
project. Aligning the objectives and goals of the organization with the objectives and goals of the
project is the most crucial aspect for the successful and efficient delivery of the project (Foehn et
al. 2017). It will allow the managers to accomplish the activities of the project within the planned
schedule and budget. It includes various phases including from the initiation phase, followed, by
planning phase, execution, control and monitoring and closure phase and it should be

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
accomplished in an efficient and effective manner. It can be defined as a sequence of activities
necessary for the delivery of the project and make sure that the outcomes are meeting the
expectations, requirements and needs of the consumers. The scope of the project can be complied
with the scope of the organization in manner to provide an effective and efficient service to the
consumers (Battou 2017). Agile methodology allows the organization to get a software or the
web portal that can meet the demands of the consumers and fulfill their demands. The
established portal will need to be established in a manner that every individual at different
centers will be able to lay down effective and efficient communication between the employees.
The approached project management allows the manager to monitor and control the development
and growth of the project and identify the changes those are necessary in manner to make sure
that the developed project meets the expected output (Abrahamsson et al. 2017). It also focuses
on the risk management strategies those are considerable for the identification and elimination of
the risks identified in the very early phase of the project.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Strength of Team Work
Teamwork is always a necessary element for the delivery of the objectives of a project as,
there are many constraints of the project that need to be considered while delivering the
objectives of the project. It will be helpful in making sure that the workload has been divided
equally among the team members and none of the team member is facing extra load of the work.
Individual support is another crucial aspect for motivating an individual towards providing their
100% contribution in the project and hence ensuring that the project is delivered successful
(Clarke and Leonardi 2017). Teamwork allows the individuals to communicate with each other
and raise the problems and solution of the problems for ensuring the effectiveness of a
teamwork. Teamwork allows the individual to be interacted with the members from different
background and different cultures and thus, allowing them to gather information and knowledge.
The earned value of information can be utilized in bringing out innovative solutions for any
problem being faced during the development of the project (Spoestra et al. 2017). Teamwork can
make sure that the overall development, output of the project is being delivered towards
accomplishing the objectives and goals, and thus, ensuring that there will be positive value.
Weaknesses of Team Work
Above explained benefits are not the only side of the teamwork as, there are certain
disadvantages of the teamwork as one might lack in accomplishing his or her area of job and
could be depended on other for the completion. Thus, the load of an individual can be raised due
to the negligence of others (Dingsoyr, moe and Seim 2018). Other concerning objective is that
the bad performance of an individual will relatively affect the performance of every individual
associated within the same team. Conflict is another drawback of the teamwork as the

individuals will be belonging to different sectors and thus, there are the possibilities that conflicts
might raise and that would hamper the overall objectives of the project (Spoelstra 2017). It could
thus; resist the project from being delivered within the expected schedule and budget as schedule
is the single factor that can manipulate the every constraint of the project.
Communication Plan
The manager should make sure that regular meetings will be delivered within regular
interval of the time and every stakeholder is eager to be present at the meetings. Participation in
the meetings is always necessary for the deployment of a successful project making sure that
everyone is well concerned and known about the changes being applied within the project
(O’Leary et al. 2017). Social media can also be used for allowing the team members to
communicate openly or communicate privately and make sure that everyone talks and listen.
Suggestion valet is another helpful step for allowing the individuals to provide their suggestions
on whatever the issue, they are facing. Face – to – face meetings can also be recommended as
from the personality and behavior scenarios, it is clear that individual can be made believe if
talked about certain topic through making the eye contact (Verrecchia et al. 2017).
Professional and Legal Issues
The old and experienced employees might resist the new transformation and
implementation and thus, oppose the new implementation and hence, the implementation can be
delayed for a long time. It might not be easy for every user to utilize the proposed solution and
access the portal in efficient and effective manner. They might feel distracted from the objective
of the organization and feel uncomfortable to use web portal for the traditional activities. It is
essential to get proper agreement for hosting the web portal nationally and internationally and

make sure that there is not any legal action against the company related to the hosting of the web
portal. The crucial aspect for the legal issue is the privacy and security for the data or
information being collected by the employees and customers details.
Conclusion
The above report broadly explains the activities and approaches associated with the
deployment of the web portal emphasizing the establishment of an effective and efficient
communication between the branches of the Lizzies Leather Company. The proposed approach
is the agile methodology that will be helpful in complying the organizational objectives with the
objectives of the project and contribute in the delivery of the project in quality manner.
Teamwork can be recommended as the best approach for the overall delivery of the project and
accomplish the activities within the project constraints. Better and effective communication
should be the major concern for the manager in manner to deliver the objectives of the project.
Proper training should be provided to the individuals who are about to use the web portal for
ensuring that the proposed solution is highly efficient.
