b) Work effectiveness as a coach-
Self evaluation: As a sport coach, it is my responsibilities that I improve student’s skills which
are helpful to achieve their goals. In this direction firstly I prefer a counselling session of learner.
With the help of this, I come to know about them.
Identifying target for action plan : It is part of day to day interaction between me and my
students. After this program I can conduct training program or provide correct advice to achieve
their pre-defined goals & objectives. The goal of coaching is to perform with them to solve
performance problems and improve their game skills.
Monitoring achievements : With the help of coaching classes students can easily analysis their
self, frame planning for future goals or take actions to accomplish them. Through the training
sessions, I come to know strengths and weakness of individual student and provide right
direction to them according to their requirement.
Feedback : A good coach gives a right path to student and they can achieve their goals
according to trainer instructions. I ask them for their ideas and concepts to accomplish goals or
develop skills. An effective coach trains his students properly & leads them to fulfil dreams.
TASK 2
a) Strategies and resources of coach-
To become a successful coach, I have to carry few coaching strategies which help me to
make best team.
Leadership and communication- To maintain a skilled team, I have to adopt effective
leadership strategies which will be helpful in success. As a good communicator, I can deliver a
clear message among the students and provide a direction for goal achievement. A good strategy
maker frames such kind of planning which is essential for team victory (Coaching Strategies to
Help Drive Team to Success, 2017). An effective or meaningful communication make more
impact on students.
Flexibility- As a coach, I have planned to achieve goals and objectives, but it is not easy to
implement all plans (Hills, 2017). If it is difficult to follow, will take more time to develop
learner’s skills. So flexible planning is necessary to build a team

3

Understand the students- In initial stage of coaching I have to understand my students first.
Without knowing them, I can't frame a good team strategy. To achieve a victory, I have to
understand all students.
Resources-
Coaching children videos- I have produced a videos' series about children coaching that are
available on social media sites. These small clips look at coaching craft from learner perspective.
Learning style questionnaires- As a coach, I am familiar with different learning styles like
visual, auditory, and kinaesthetic and their use during practice classes. There are lots of
information and questionnaire available on online medium.
Nutritional advice for sport- Online site of nutrition purpose is provided a huge nutrition
support network, enabling those in requirement of finding nutritionist near to them. It is a free
services online website that provides all information which students need.
All above strategies are helpful for me to understand nature of learners and I easily manage
them during coaching period or provide a right direction to accomplish their goals.
b) Work experience in agencies-
Key Sports Management Ltd., Sports International Management and Elite Sports Agency
all are the sports agencies of United Kingdom. I worked in many sports agencies as a coach but
these three are my best. I used to work here to give coaching and taught the students how they
develop their skills and accomplish goals or objectives. I always try to improve learners game via
providing sports tricks. As a coach, I keep my eyes on their performance and make strategies
according to students learning skill (Hopp, 2017). I enjoyed working with these agencies because
they gave me a direction to use my talent to teach others. In Key Sports Management, I taught
learners what kind of nutrition is healthy for them and how they must do their practices. I made
my sports planning for individual student because some were good but some were taking time to
improve their game. I also wanted to improve my skill and liked to give coaching classes to
others who want to polish their talent.

TASK 3
a) Strengths and improving areas-
As a team coach, I always encourage my students to perform their best. I never
underestimate learner’s efforts or appreciate them for game. I do care about learner’s diet plan,
their learning styles or understanding ability. It is my responsibility that I prepare such kind of
game strategies which will help them to improve their skills or win the match. It’s not
compulsory that I always get victory in every match. Some time it's not in favour, so as a tutor, I
will motivate students not to be disappointed, it is a part of game (Neighbour, 2018). My focus is
on players' efficiency, learning style or behaviour with each other’s.
Strengths- I am strong in some specific areas, which are below-
Awareness of learner’s needs- As a coach, I know about students’ needs and requirements. It is
my job that I provide all essential facilities to learner which are necessary for game
improvement.
Knowledge- I have complete knowledge which is related to student’s skills improvement. A
good knowledgeable coach provides right direction to them and as tutor, I know all game tricks
and it shows my strength.
Update- I have all updated information which relates not only games rules but also students. It is
a part of coach responsibilities, that's why I always try to collect all relevant information’s.
Target oriented- I am a target oriented coach. It is my special strength that I never divert my
focus from goals and objectives.
Improvement areas- I have to develop some area which are beneficial for future training
purpose.
Observation- I have to improve my observation power. It is one of the best skill of a coach.
Without observation, I will never come to know improving zone of students and game. To
become good coach, I have to work on this weakest area.
Training- Practice makes a person perfect. So for building a good team, it is necessary that I
conduct training sessions for learner’s time to time (Stevenson, 2017). In the absence of proper
coaching classes, students can't accomplish their goals and objectives.
Peer monitoring- I have to monitor peer activities as well as students. Monitoring is a weak
point of my coaching skill and I have to work on it.
