As the sales and customer relationship officer at the CoffeeVille East Melbourne Store to deal
with the client from Australian Hardware Melbourne Office a strategic plan has been initiated.
The client is seeking for 15%discout that has been negotiated to 10% as that is the maximum that
can be offered. The discount of 10% has to be first discussed with the general manager of the
store before closing the deal. The client has been given information about the terms of
negotiation and the discounts policy of CoffeeVille. Must receive approval of offers or discounts
over delegation limit from store general manager before concluding business with customer and
contracts are signed.
For the second client, who is form the Melbourne Car World is meeting for a business
proposal. The client wants to associate with CoffeeVille to develop a strategic partnership that
will offer a discount to their employees on coffee. In this partnership the profit of the business is
of two folds: promotion: Coffeeville will have promotion in the car world and hence the footfall
in the car world is relatively high the promotional tactics will reach the target audience. Secondly
increase in sales from the employees of the car world.
The privacy and exclusivity policies has to be explained to the client form car world, the
threat of the profit portion of this partnership being diluted by other cafes and competitors
remain in this arrangement.
The privacy policy of the company sates that all information about the clients are safe
and protected by the company. Without the consent of any of the third parties related to the
management of the company no information is discloses, unless the information requirement is
directed by the judiciary. To build and maintain trust among the clients and the management of

the company it is important to base it on the trust of non disclosure. The documents will be
signed before the deals with the clients are sealed.
Some information is used by the company itself or by who perform some of these tasks
directly on our behalf, for example freight companies or research agencies. These companies are
also under contract and agreement of non disclosure of the information by the National Privacy
Principles. Coffeville has an internal data protection and electronic data transmission process;
any communications that are taken place online via the website are secure and no personal
information can be used by any third party without the knowledge of the management.
