AI Summary
This presentation explores the significant contributions of cognitive psychology to our scientific understanding of learning, memory, attention, and perception. It delves into latent learning, highlighting how learning isn't always immediately obvious and is utilized when needed. The presentation discusses childhood amnesia, explaining its impact on long-term memory retention. It also examines late filtering theory in attention, emphasizing how information is filtered for processing, and explores the Gestalt approach in perception, detailing how humans group elements based on recognized patterns. The presentation concludes that cognitive psychology effectively aids in the scientific understanding of these crucial cognitive processes.

INTRODUCTION
Cognitive psychology is process of examine and analysing the way an particular individual think,
process and interpretate information such as by paying attention, retention the thing in the mind,
through a particular language and by perceiving the same.
In the presentation all crucial point related to the way Cognitive psychology has contributed in
scientific understanding of learning, attention, memory and perception is being presented.
The purpose of presentation is to understand the manner in which these elements have contributed in
effectively understanding of all four key elements.

LATENT LEARNING IN LEARNING
Learning is often seen as immediately obvious but in latent learning it is
not observed easily and it is seen only when it is utilised.
Furthermore, this type of latent learning is broken into the constraints of
behaviourism I.,e process is directly observed.
Apply the learning as and when required so that it can complete the task
and stay independently through making use of things that it has learned.

MEMORY IN CHILDHOOD AMNESIA
In short childhood amnesia can be stated that period of life in which the memory are short lived or the
event is not held in the mind for longer time frame.
So the same problem of not able to remind the things continue that then individual in its adulthood is
not able to retained any information and may have negative consequence.
As per literature, also infantile amnesia is stated as faster forgetting the things when the person is
immature or the brain has not effectively developed.

LATE FILTERING IN ATTENTION
This is theory that proposed that only physical characteristics of
message are used to select one message that can be further processed.
So, all the information enter into unlimited capability sensory bugger.
Then filter take steps to filter information to pass on further thus help
in effective understanding of attention.
Likewise: most of the people after hearing their name quickly respond
as compared to other words that they listen in daily routine.

THE GESTALT APPROACH IN PERCEPTION
It include principle or laws of human perception thus helps in
describing the manner in which human are group on basis of
recognised pattern, element and when perceive the object, simplify the
images.
In short, perception can be stated as comprehensive, awareness as
well as understanding of something. Gestalt is also known as unified
whole or it aim as how human gain meaningful perception from a
complex things.
So it is what a mind inform that has been seen by the eye which
become an perception of individual towards the thing.

CONCLUSION
From the above presentation it can be concluded that Cognitive psychology has helped individual in
effectively scientific understanding of the learning, memory, attention and perception.
Likewise, latent learning has helped individual that they by seeing other action can learn something
and implement the same whenever necessary.
Moreover, perception is also understood through making uses of Gestalt approach that is based on six
principles that state the way human perceive things.
