1. Negative experience that has been faced
Management approach is referred to as one of the most important things that every person
should consider in each phase of their lives whether in the working environment or in personal
life. I have faced such negative experience when I was working for a private organization. For
that company I was assigned for a project on ERP development system. I was assigned as the
second system developer. However, the project team that was developed by my project manager
was a distributed one where the project team members were belongs to different social and
cultural background. The negative experience that I have faced was intra organizational conflict
among the project team members.
2. Contribution to cause the experience
The reason behind this conflict was due to the cultural and social diversity among the
project team members and lack of support as well as leadership from the project manager. I felt
that due to lack of support and communication gap there was no such teamwork shown during
the ERP project development phase.
3. Learning from the experience
From the negative experience I have learned that, team management and communication plan is
the most important thing that should have to be considered by both the project management and
the project team members a well. With the help of proper open communication approach the
project manger and the project tea m members will be to share their point of views with each

other effectively. I have realized that it will help to create strong bonding among the project team
members and will eventually reduce the chance of conflict arising.
4. The way through which the experience can be handled
I think that, proper interaction and team management skills are very import through
which this negative experience can be easily handled.
5. Positive and negative impact of the experience
I think the negative experience that I have faced has both positive and negative impact.
After facing the intra organizational conflict I realized that there was a positive impact of the
experience that implies internal team communication and co-operation are required to implement
so that the project objectives can be reached easily. On the other side the negative impact that I
have experienced was in any project team may not everyone but some people will definitely exist
who will disagree to the team decision.
