In the course of communication, I have developed the different skills in the field of
information communication. Skills are necessary for every individual; if the person has
skills then they can easily apply to job. Skills can be in various forms such as
communication skills, interpersonal skills, and academic skills. From the course of COIT
20249, I have learned the skills such as communication skills, skill of ICT that helps me to
attain the skills and knowledge, interpersonal skills, ethical behavior, teamwork. For
example, I was working in the wools worth organization as a Manager and he/she have the
responsibility to manage the potential customers that is CRM in which I have to manage the
customers and worked as the fresher, I did not have any knowledge of skills of ICT and I
faced many difficulties in that job. But later on attending the course of COIT 20249 I
learned the different skills and that helps me to work better in the organization ( Rachman,
2017).
From the past experience in my job, I did not know about the skills of ICT and the manager
give me the task which are related to the programming language that time I face difficulty,
later on they suggest me to take course of COIT 20249 that provides me the knowledge of
skills, as in the approach of CRM the manger has to manage the connectivity between the
customers that helps to attain the goal (Sala & Gobet, 2017)..
By attending the course of COIT20249, I develop the various skills and that creates the
impact in the organization. The individual learn about the interpersonal skills that help to
connect with other people. In relation to the organization, the individual should have the
ability to get along with other employees in organization; as If the individual have the skill
of interpersonal then they can communicate in better way and leads to achieve the growth.
In wools worth, if individual have good communication skills then he/she can convey
information in better manner and the other employees can understands in better manner.
They can easily send and transfer message in organization. In the organization, there will be
a situation of positive and negative in relation to skills, if the individual does not have the
skills of interpersonal and communication then, they can’t work properly and the approach
of CRM did not implement and it creates bad affect. But if the individual have the

In this it analyses the concept of ethical issue that what is ethical dilemma and when it
occurs. It also analyses the ACS code of Ethics and the ACS code of professional conduct.
The case scenario depicts the situation of misconduct on behalf of students. In this the
students of university submit the assessment and by investigation, it will be found that they
have cheated or copied the assessment and states that they have written by their own, This
situation is ghost writing in which depicts that they students submits the other work. This
situation is the misconduct and it leads to the effect of ethics. As the ACS code of Ethics is a
part of constitution which states the member uphold and advance the dignity, honor and
effectiveness of professional.
The ACS has certain elements which is necessary for the student to behave in better manner.
It includes the honesty as the students should be honest in the skills, knowledge and
products. Competence, the students work with the diligently and competently with the
shareholders. Professional development, the student should have the quality of professional
development in relation to the university. According to the scenario, the students has done
the misconduct on behalf of students they did not follow the ethics and did not comply with
the elements of ACS code as they are not honest for their skills they cheat the assessment
work and did not behave competent with the staff members in university(Certo, 2018).
The code of professional conduct aimed to provide the guidelines for professional conducts.
This code is applicable to the all members in relation to the area in organization. According
to my view, I suggest that the students have to prepare their own assessment work so that
there will be no issue of cheating and they also follow the concept of ethics. If there is
misconduct then it cause to ethical dilemma that is the paradox in the process of decision
making. This situation arise when there is conflict between the one and that results in the
transgressing the other.
If there is situation of ethical dilemma, then the individual has to start with the legalities
which means they have to follow the laws and standards and it is expected by the employer
to follow the standards by the employee. They have to review the code of ethics that is

Part A – Justification
Describe an example where you used listening and verbal communication skills effectively.
The skills learned in COIT20249 course were used while interacting with customers during my
job at Woolworths. The customer had issues with the quality of products and I was given the
responsibility to satisfy him and solve his problem. I used my skills learned during the course
and I listened to the customer patiently and sorted his problem by communicating effectively.

While preparing a report, I used my reading skills as the skills learned through course helped me
in reading relevant information and finishing the reading of article in time. Through this, I was
able to spare maximum time for developing the academic report.
