Facebook marketing (FM) comes under social-media marketing which is getting
popular in this digital world. In general, FM is often used by contemporary brands for
promoting their products and services (Treadaway & Smith, 2012). For instance, brands
working in the field of food, home goods, electronics, restaurants are extensively using
Facebook for the effective marketing of their products all over the world. In this way, any
brand can be promoted with the help of Facebook, while turning passive customers into
active ones (Treadaway & Smith, 2012).
Instagram marketing
Likewise, Instagram marketing is the term used for the marketing approach used on
the Instagram platform. It has been found that Instagram is not getting utilised for personal
interaction anymore ( Bagshaw, 2019). Instagram has become a novel global platform which

enables global brands to recruit novel talent, humanize their content, showcase new products
as well as inspire their users largely. Besides, Instagram business account is getting popular
these days for marketing activities worldwide. In this way, marketing done through this new
app Instagram is extensively known as Instagram marketing ( Bagshaw, 2019).
Local marketing
In general, local marketing can be seen as regional or neighbourhood marketing
methodology used as a new marketing strategy in the offline world ( Bagshaw, 2019). It has
been found that local marketing is a marketing strategy that usually targets consumers with
the help of a finely grained site like a city or neighbourhood of the place where product or
service is being sold (Tiago & Verissimo, 2014). In addition to that, this marketing approach
is utilised from small local businesses to conserving their business resources as well as
developing unique profits while reaching the consumers and exceeding their expectations.
