COIT20265 - Information Security: FNU Wireless Network Project

This project report details the transformation of the First National University's (FNU) network to support distance education through a secure wireless network. The project addresses IP addressing scheme overhauls, enhanced bandwidth, and the implementation of BYOD and WAT. Key objectives include reconstructing the network for wireless connectivity, repairing the IP address scheme, enhancing bandwidth, establishing a secure private network, and automating network services. The project charter outlines the purpose, scope, objectives, constraints, and statement of work, along with the project team members and their roles defined by the RACI matrix. A detailed project plan, including a Gantt chart and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), is presented, followed by a risk and mitigation analysis to address potential challenges such as schedule increments, budget enhancements, environmental factors, security issues, and technical problems. The goal is to deliver a robust and efficient wireless network within the stipulated timeline, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance for FNU's stakeholders.
