Summary
In his article on the hunger issues that have been existent in the Gates (2018) had
mentioned that the residents of Africa especially the younger children, the pregnant ladies and
the ladies of the country who have recently given birth to their children. The author further
opines that the condition of malnutrition that have been existent in the country might lead to the
curbing of the productivity of the concerned country as well.
Response
The selected articles for the concerned discussion are observed to be dealing with the
different possible and the plausible ways that might help the concerned reader to understand the
present scenario in Africa in the matters that pertain to the low quality of the food materials that
might be availed by the children, the ladies who have been experiencing motherhood in the
recent times and those ladies who would experience the same in the near future. The authors in
both the cases tend to put forth the argument and suggestion that technology must be
implemented in the distribution of the food materials that might help in dealing with the issues of
the malnutrition that exist in the country.
Gates (2018) has in his article put forward the fact that the various researchers should
concentrate majorly on the matters that pertain to the application of the technologies in the
matters of the distribution of the food and nutritional elements to the residents of the country.
The author puts major stress on the availability of the quality food for the young children, the
recent mothers and the ladies who have been passing through the phase of pregnancy. The author
further opines that the issue of malnutrition might highly affect the overall productivity of the
country thereby stunting the growth of the same.

However, Wario (2018) opine that the concerned governmental bodies might take help
from the technological factors that help in the distribution of the quality food materials and
address the issues of the scarcity of the food, having high nutritional value, among the younger
children and the pregnant ladies in Africa. The author opines that government of the concerned
land should implement the policies that might help in the eradication of the aridity issues faced
by the land thereby helping the concerned state to deal with the hunger and the malnutritional
issues.
